“Stacey’s got people out here walking the streets, got people supporting her. The last person not doing that. Y’all got time to walk the street, then she’s gonna do something for us.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Paso and Vino voted early. They know that to win, we all need to vote early and volunteer hard over the next 17 days. Our race could not be closer. Your vote could not be more important. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

"I personally support Stacey Abrams because I feel like I'm a 28-year-old Stacey Abrams.
I’m a young woman with college debt, and I know that I have a purpose, and I want to leave my mark on the world. I’m just trying to figure out how.
Like Stacey, I have family members who battle with mental illness. I grew up going to church with that community as well. My family always instilled faith and hard work in me. And so I see myself in her. I'm just on my journey of actually being used for my purpose. That’s why Stacey Abrams means so much to me." - La’Ree Taylor (@gttaplsraee), Regional Field Director.
Thank you, La’Ree, for all you do to lead Georgia forward. It's time for Georgia to rise to the occasion and vote: staceyabrams.com/vote
As a coach who often works with women to break free of the systems of oppression that keep them shackled in marriages that don’t serve them, THIS MATTERS.
The aim of the current administration is to return us to a time when women were nothing more than property; when rich white men ruled the country; when black and brown people, transgendered people, gay people — you name it, if you weren’t a rich white dude — had no rights.
This isn’t hyperbole. This is what’s happening.
Worse, this is the exact design of what’s happening.
And YOUR VOTE MATTERS.
No vote = a vote for oppression.
Protest vote = a vote for oppression.
JUST. FUCKING. VOTE. 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊 #votethemout#gotv#midtermelections#midterms2018#noh8#feministaf#transrightsarehumanrights
Just two weeks away. I’m looking at you, #midterms.
Anybody want to have a voter cram session? I’m doing my work on the props - happy to share my knowledge & learn what you know. And if anybody knows an organization that could use help driving people to the polls, please leave the info below! Every one I’ve looked at is fully staffed up for Election Day. (A great problem to have.)
Also, @greatgats1 is canvassing in the 48th this Sunday 10/28 and he’s turned it into an event! If you want the details, hit me up! (You know it’s important because I used exclamation points two sentences in a row.) ✌🏼
Start your Voting Plan here 🗒 >>
1. Go to vote.org to see if you’re registered. Registration deadlines are coming soon for #Nebraska, #Washington, #Connecticut & #Utah, but some states’ deadline *is* election day.
2. How are you voting? Do you need to drop that absentee ballot in the mail? When will you? Can you vote early, in-person? Are you heading to the polls Tuesday, 11/6?
3. Get a sample ballot from your state’s voting site & read up on the candidates.
4. If you’re voting in person — Double check your poll location’s hours. When is the best time for you to go? Morning, noon or evening?
5. Confirm the type of ID you’ll need to take with you — states have different requirements.
6. Clear your schedule. Tell your boss & co-workers & family. Encourage them to plan their times, too! Mark the time off on your calendar.
7. Encourage your friends and family to set up their voting plan, too. Bonus points if you reach out to the younger & older voters you know, to encourage them. (Transportation can be an issue for older voters. Offer to help, if you’re able.)
When we watch the returns come in November 6, let’s not wish we’d done more or done differently. Let’s organize & be organized & make the most of this opportunity! 💪🏼
Liz’s mom, Betty, is a canvassing rockstar. She’s knocked hundreds of doors to #GOTV for Liz. Best interaction? When someone invited her to a party! #runwithliz#flipin09#IN09

“It’s every American’s civic duty to vote in all elections. Because I vote, my members of Congress listen to me and respond to the issues I raise.” ~ Adlai Amor, FCNL •
@chicagoartgirls : We are women hear us roar! #dontstayhomeonelectionday ・・・thanks @kiefferceramics for this!
"I'm a potter, but I am also a citizen, and happy to say a voting one and hope you are too. Here in the U.S., only 36% of those eligible voted in the 2014 midterms. If you don't feel the need to vote or don't know for whom to vote check the perennially relevant quote below. Not every candidate is perfect, but through quick research, you can learn who and which ballot initiatives most hold the values in which you believe. Be A Voter! Big respect to all those who cast an early ballot or visit their polls on Tues, Nov 6th! ✊
"If you are bored and disgusted by politics and don't bother to vote, you are in effect voting for the entrenched establishments... who please rest assured are not dumb, and who are keenly aware that it is in their interests to keep you disgusted and bored and cynical and to give you every possible psychological reason to stay at home... By all means stay home if you want, but don't bullshit yourself that you're not voting. In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some diehard’s vote." ~ David Foster Wallace
