Third day back after a full 6 week long hiatus. Not wearing any gear for the main lifts to build strength from the inside out and making sure I take it easy. Progressively building tissue capacity patiently so that my body is ready when the time comes. Pretty humbling that my top sets were at 125kg/275lbs but confident that strength will come back fast.

- Conditioned with sled drags/pulls
- Zercher Lunge 3 x 10
- KB swing and press single arm 3 x 6
- Back extensions plus row 3 x 10
- GHD sit ups 3 x 15
- DB bench press 3 x 12
Lots of volume means lots of soreness lol. I’m not gonna be able to walk for a week. But heyooo gotta start building.
Same body weight, different body composition. Pic on the left was in 2013, when I was preparing for a half marathon, running an average of 40 miles a week and limiting my calorie intake to ~1200 calories per day. On the pic on the right (2017)I’m maybe doing 60mins of cardio a week total and ~2200 calorie intake a day!
