This morning on Castro Street. 🏳️🌈🌈
Happy Saturday, everyone! Hope you’re having an amazing weekend - and finding a way to beat the heat if you’re here in San Francisco! 🔥😁 (The thermometer in my backyard hit 85° today - which is pretty warm for SF, especially at this time of year.)
I love seeing all these wonders in different states of construction. It gives a unique look into the history of the areas they’ve changed. -

The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the Wonders of the Modern World and has been a symbol of California since its construction finished on April 19th, 1937. This picture shows the construction of the suspension bridge sometime before the roadway was completed, a suspension bridge that now connects San Francisco and Marin County over one mile of water. -
Well I've reached the end of another excellent adventure.. this time with the lovely @lotosparvula who was my guide to San Francisco! AND My first ever trip to the USA 😁. Just some of my trip highlights in no particular order (otherwise I'll be all night) 🗺️... ✨ Getting to dance my arse off at a JD gig straight off the plane! ✨ Watching my first baseball game and getting to see the San Francisco Giants WIN!! ✨Soaking up the majestic ambience in Muir Woods. ✨Swing dancing with an octogenarian called Chris who I found out used to be the captain of his high-school baseball team back in the day, and would open up the school gym after hours so he and his classmates could dance.
Thank you so much to @anikadrawls and Ray for being such generous and wonderful hosts plus all the @jdmcphersonpix crew for your fantastic San Francisco tips. Thank you Lorna for the laughs, randomness, pancakes and all round good times. 😁🥞 🌉 #sanfrancisco#travel#baseball#giantswin#muirwoods#swingdancing
