momentan: wieder öfter ins Gym 💦🏃🏼♀️👋🏼 Die Sache mit der Motivation ist bei mir immer so ein Ding. Mal gehe ich 3 Monate am Stück 3 Mal die Woche ins Gym. Dann auf einmal wieder 3 Monate gar nicht. Dafür mache ich dann vielleicht lieber workouts zu Hause oder gehe raus laufen oder bewege mich sonst irgendwie. Ich finds okay so wie es ist! Some singapore highlights! This city really has everything! Luckily I am still getting some training in around the girls basketball matches and sightseeing itinerary! Tonight’s session: 15 min warm up, 20 minutes Kenyan hills (200m uphill hard, 200m downhill hard repeatedly), 10 min cool down. #singapore#travel#sportstour
Confession time: I may or may not have had to go on my husband’s Facebook profile last week to double check that his birthday is in fact today 😬
But in my defense this is only the 3rd Birthday I’ve ever celebrated with him. The first was only a few weeks into dating. He invited me to go out to dinner to meet his family and I was so nervous that I actually dressed up! Though for me that means I wore blue jeans instead of yoga pants 👖 🧘♀️
I wouldn’t be doing what I do today if I hadn’t married him. It’s so much easier to put yourself out there when you know that someone at home has your back no matter what. That is such an incredible gift 🎁

This is what getting up at 3am to do something that scares you looks like 😍⛰ I'm not a natural trail runner. In fact, I can't even walk down rocky hills without freaking out. So I stick to my road running safety blanket most of the time 🤗
But with @wadibihrun fast approaching, I figured it was about time I got out there to see what these sunrises were all about!
Turns out, I loved (most of) it and want to go back to get better and gain confidence. Also, constantly staying focused on what's ahead is EXHAUSTING! I could sleep for a week 😴
17km with a difference. I really didn't think I could make it that far, but here I am feeling all proud and glowy 😊

A quick reminder: you don’t actually have to do all the things in one day. .
You heard me. All of that stuff stressing you out and coming at you from different directions doesn’t have to be completed or solved in one day. .
This is as much a reminder to me as it is to you, and I’m keeping it 100% real by admitting this past month has been an overwhelming/“busy” (and really really exciting) time for me. .
New websites and blogs are hard to design, a full inbox is time consuming to tackle, sharing chunks of my life with the world is more appealing sometimes than others, and fitting in studenting 👩🎓 and working the occasional shift as a medic 🚁 is a time-sucking sprinkle on top. .
I’m almost certain you could fill the same paragraph with obligations and stuff you have to do. .
Where does that leave us? To do one damn thing at a time. .
Focus on human connection, what brings you joy, and protecting your time (something I touched on during my interview on the @aha_fit podcast today - I’ll let you know when it’s available to 👂🏼) .
