Entering a portal. When I go hiking or walking (or swimming, diving or boating for that matter), I look for portals that might lead to a known or hidden vortex. If the portal leads to a vortex, then I would say it’s a #vortal because not all portals lead to a vortex. But portals do signify an entry point and it usually is to another dimension where time becomes elastic and you’ve left “some place” behind, even if it’s your previous mind set. That’s what dynamic meditation or movement meditation is. When you physically move from one place to another but your spiritually body also moves - it could even be a mental aha or your heart opens up a bit more and your whole body relaxes and smiles. Yep, portal to happiness! .
Being able to provide the best food, litter, home, and vet care for our girls is one of the main reasons I became an online fitness mentor. These beautiful little meows are my everything. I make sure I never leave home without giving each of them a kiss, scratchies behind the ear, and saying "I love you, take care, have a good day." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a side note, miss Persistence here is seriously overweight. We have been going on walks, but they are sporadic as the weather is still very warm. We play and she runs around for a bit, before ultimately flopping over and halfheartedly smacking the toy. Fitness is a journey and it takes times to see results. Especially for little meows.
2018 was the year I sold all the expensive stuff I owned and bought a new, ultralight tent from @msr_gear to accompany me on my adventures. It was also the year I decided to learn French again, and the year I officially started pursuing my obsessive passion for mountains by attending a mountaineering course in Chamonix. And now I've just started jotting down my bucket list for 2019. What do I want to do when next year comes around? 🤷 Head to my website to find out more ➡️ jennijalonen.com or link in bio 🌲
