This power phase of training is where I live and breathe, as should any elite athlete or person looking to increase athletic performance. 🙌🏽 . FACT: Training to be optimally powerful is absolutely crucial for athletes. It helps develop fast-twitch muscle fibers and trains the nervous system to help you generate all the explosive power needed to jump high, hit hard, sprint fast, and most importantly look like a total bad ass. 😜 . WORKOUT: 30 secs on, 30 off, 3-5 rounds. 💥Squat clean to lunge and press 💥Banded explosive squat jumps 👉🏽(focus should be on the eccentric squat landing, control and absorb the landing of each jump before the concentric movement powering the next jump) 💥Sled bound and press 💥Broad jump to SA snatch 💥Banded lunge to power step up 💥Alternating DB split squat jumps . . @danyelewilson @danyelewilson

I always do it three times a week, twice being HIIT and once being low intensity 💦💦time to get moving!

Here’s the rest of what I did today: Squat 3x3 at 205 Squat 3x5 at 185 Squat 3x8 at 155 Goblet squat 4x15 Step-ups 4x10 each leg p.s. don’t I have the best hype men? 😂
