For those that live with anxiety ♥️
Don’t ever let your anxiety define you. You are not it and it is not you.
After one of the worst nights of anxiety that i’ve had in over 6 months, i’m exhausted. No matter how much you just tell yourself to ‘breathe’ or relax or just be still, sometimes it takes control and there’s not much you can do but ride the wave. For me it came out of nowhere. I had just had one of the best, calmest, happiest days that i’ve had in a while and then later that night, just as i was about to get into bed it just hit me out of nowhere.
See that’s the thing about the beast that is anxiety, it can creep up on you sometimes when you least expect it. You do and say things that you wouldn’t normally do or say, you overthink, over analyze, it’s horrible. It’s not you. You can wake up the next day feeling like an idiot.
But the thing is? That’s not you. You are not your anxiety. Today is a better day, knowing that i am trying to be the best version of myself that i can be, that i am trying, that i am loved, supported and understood by those around me who love me most. That i really am trying and i am doing my best.
For anyone else who lives with anxiety, don’t ever let anxiety get the better of you. There is no shame in speaking out about it or speaking publicly, if anything it helps others that are suffering too. You’ve got this, you are loved and supported x

Little bit of a self portrait here, that’s me on the left. I had set up a street scene with my camera on the tripod in Prague a couple of years back and then this bloke walked into my composition and helped create quite a strong image.
Shot at 16mm with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8
I have lifted the iso to 800 to keep the shutter speed high to capture the walking pedestrians while maintaining reasonable depth of field shooting my aperture at f/8.
