Today was 10/10 one of those days, left the gym sweating💦 & now it’s time for a little date night (thai food obvi🤤🥢)!! ———————— Workout Vid Deetz: ✨Around The Worlds - (my fav) ✨Lateral Raises - (keep these controlled) ✨Assisted Pull-ups - (make sure you’re going all the way down to feel that full stretch) ✨DB Bicep Curls (go a little heavy on these but make sure you aren’t swinging too much otherwise it defeats the intended purpose) ✨E-Z Curl Bar Military Press - (superset this with behind the head e-z curl bar presses and you’ll be dyinnnn☠️) ———————— Not a full workout but definitely some of my favorites😊. Gone are the days where everyone gets prescribed a “5x5” And told to max out their Squat, Bench or Deadlifts for the next 12 weeks and hope for the best. You see, every single one of us are different genetically and structurally. For example, a squat would work great for someone with small femurs but not so great for someone with long femurs. Due to a more pronounced forward lean this position is more prone to lower back once loaded. This is just one issue and there are hundreds when assessing the most suitable lifts for selection. - Compound lifts are absolutely fantastic don’t get me wrong but it has to be for the right person. In my experience the best exercises are the ones that can be worked through the entire range and loaded with zero pain. This is how I choose my exercises to create “The perfect training plan to build muscle” - Once this is established, below are the key factors that I always adhere too whilst in a muscle building phase. - 1. Ensuring the client is in a constant calorie surplus measurable through weight, pictures and circumference. - 2. Using the training method progressive overload to create new muscle stimulus between reps 6-15. - 3. Client actually enjoys the plan thus being more inclined to stick to it. - 4.
