I have bombed into a downward carb spiral these last 2 days. I had a piece of cake, chips, nachos, a sandwich and fries etc. I am OC! I have been comforming with the eating habits of those around me and lacking the self control to look at my options ahead of time or meal prep at home. Here's the thing though, this isn't forever! I'll be back, as good as new tomorrow. I'll be back on track and my lifestyle will continue. This way of eating isn't a "food prison." A carb will not kill me and sugar does not mean instant obesity. Do I want to practice healthy habits and use proper food choices to fuel my body? Of course! I'm not going to refuse every piece of birthday cake or every pasta dinner that my Mom makes for the rest of my life though. "Everything in moderation, including moderation"-Oscar Wilde

•Honey Glazed Pork-chops•
1/8 cup honey
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp soy sauce
2 pork chops
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp corn starch
-Make the glaze by whisking together: honey, lemon juice, garlic, and soy sauce. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of pork chops.
-Heat olive oil in pan and cook pork chops. Cook about 4 minutes each side until golden brown.
-Reduce heat to low and add glaze. Allow the pork chops to simmer 4 minutes.
-Once pork chops are done remove from pan and add cornstarch. Sauce should thicken almost immediately. Pour on top of chops and ENJOY!
I had this with a sweet potato and carrots....yes lots of orange because I’m trying to eat everything in my fridge and that’s what I had left 🤦🏼♀️
Sometimes you gotta go back to the basics. Healthy doesn’t have to be complicated. Today I was not in a good place and was reminded of a time when I was crippled with apathy, exhaustion, and other negative feelings that are difficult to put into words. The difference between then and today is that today, I am sure that I can get back on track and I have faith in my ability to do so.

Okay hey guys!! So I completely fell off the wagon with working out but I realized that I can’t expect to have a beach body if I decide to start a month before summer comes around, so I finally worked up the courage to start back up today. I’m starting my p90x3 schedule over and I’m gonna actually CONSISTENTLY work out everyday. I’ll make a post everyday for proof, not just for you guys but also to hold myself accountable. I DO plan on tracking my progress with pictures everyday and I’ll make a video at the end of the cycle so you guys can see the progress so keep an eye out for that come January! I made a promise to myself. Shit happens and I am not perfect but it is time to get back on track.
These past 2 weeks have been "all board the struggle bus." Anyone else feel that way?? I don't know if it is the weather changes, allergies or lots of running around but I am putting my excuses behind me.
So I am in the bedroom playing catch up. Making games plans. Taking back control of my health and you can too!!! Let's do this together!!! Whether it is fitness, nutrition, support or all of the above that you need help with, I got you!
It is so easy to push our health aside and not have the time but let's be honest here - we seem to find the time for things that don't benefit us in the long run. What if I told you all you need is 30 minutes - what would you say? What if I told you all you need is 4-5 days a week - how does that sound? Do you know that you could do this from home - could you believe it is possible??

I need to repeat this to myself as I have been so stressed out this week
I’ve been MIA the last few days because I’ve been working late & trying to get everything together for moving to my own place this weekend. I’m weeks behind in my original half marathon training plan, so last night I did some research and found a 5 week training plan that I’m going to STRICTLY follow once all this moving is over this weekend. Not having running in my life just for these last three days has been driving me crazy & feeling pent up. I’m hoping I can get to spin tomorrow since I missed it Monday. Any advice on how to not feel discouraged because life is overtaking time to train would be appreciated!😅

It’s been hard. Really hard. A huge struggle. I set goals....and failed. I try every morning to get back on track....and fail. I’m mindlessly eating, even when I’m not hungry. I said I was going to run, and haven’t. I said I was going to squat daily, and haven’t. I said I was going to stay on track over vacation, and didn’t. I’m still not on track weeks later. This Keto lifestyle isn’t just about losing weight and eating better. I’m trying to love myself and get control of this eating disorder that I have. I’m eating and not stopping even though I’m not hungry. Using cheat days and cheat meals as excuse to eat just because it’s there. Am I being hard on myself, I know I am. I’m in tears writing this. Like honestly, this is SOOO Accurate!!! I've helped so many people and I'm cool with that, but it has allowed me to FAIL as well. You LIVE AND LEARN and that's exactly what I'm doing. Hi! 👋🏼 Long time, no see! 🙈 The last few weeks have been crazy here, and I am disappointed to admit that I have not handled them responsibly. Like... At all. I won’t be hitting my 195 by October 1st goal, and that’s a certainty. But to quote my friend @rundisneyorbust, “if I wanted different results, I should’ve behaved differently.” 💯 I’m hoping, though, that I can rally and at least get to Onederland before our anniversary vacation at the end of October. Fingers crossed!
So even though I fell off the wagon (again) and my weight is definitely not where I want it to be right now, the last few weeks have definitely shown me important things for my journey.
1) I’m really an all-or-nothing person. I can’t do moderation. One little thing here becomes one more little thing there becomes EAT ALL THE THINGS. Especially when it comes to sugar. I just love baked things, y’all.
2) I NEED my routine. I need my Sunday meal prep days and if I don’t have them, the entire week is downhill. Not having things ready to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner automatically mean we’re getting take-out or fast food.
3) I hate take-out/fast food. HATE IT. I feel disgusting no matter what/where we eat. It’s too damn expensive. And most of the time I end up hating/being unsatisfied with whatever I get.
4) I am SO WEAKKKKKKK. I am the queen of justifying a “treat” which turns into a day off which turns into two weeks off. My will power is basically zero. UGH.
5) I want this. I want to turn my health and bad habits around. I want to lose the weight. I want to get active and have energy and feel good. That means I HAVE to make changes, and more importantly I have to find a way to shut up the little voice in my head that encourages getting off track.
So here we go again. Back on track. This won’t be the last derailment, I’m sure. But around here.... we #keepmovingforward. ↗️

😴 Did I want to wake-up at 5am this morning & workout? Absolutely not.
😫 Am I tired? Um yes. That's why I NEED my yellow energy juice! Lol. 😂💛⚡
😣 Am I overwhelmed & stressed trying to get caught up after vacation? Yup!
Getting back on track & back in a routine can be HARD! And not even just a vacation, but a busy work week, family stuff, LIFE... I have lots of laundry to do, I feel behind in my business, I feel blah b/c my nutrition is off, I have a few pounds to shed (🌮🍹)....
But thankfully I have ALLLL the tools I need to get back on track, the support & accountability of my online community 🤜🤛, and a team of amazing coaches by my side 👭❤️. So BLESSED to be part of this amazing community because when I work on my OWN health, I feel better mentally to tackle the rest of life 🤪🤣.
Now I love my iPhone 📱 it takes great pictures and even records in 4k, but when it comes to hands free and accessories that compliment, these are 👑. Thank you @gopro for getting me back right! Let the good times continue rolling 🎞
