#Inktober Day 21: Medication
This drawing isnt to bash or promote medication. I'm simply expressing what's been on my mind because; I'm seeing a nurse at an ADHD treatment center on Thursday and see what my options are for treatment. If you take medication for AD/HD, I have nothing to say against it, especially if you've done the research and have made the decision, knowing what you know.
It's awesome how well-researched #ADHD is, and that there plenteous options for treatment, both pharmaceutical and natural. But there is a controversy about pharmaceutical medications. ADHD can be treated by stimulants and SSRI/SNRI/MAOI meds, but there are risks. Some of the drugs are inches from being straight up methamphetamine, and SSRIs can have serious mind alterations. But they have been shown to help with the symptoms.
That being said, I'm not saying I'm against the pharmaceutical medication. After praying, reviewing my family and medical history, and having a deep discussion with my boyfriend, I've decided to go natural first, and turn to stimulant medication last. I like having a professional share with me what I can use, but they'll help me with natural remedies too. But I promised myself and my boyfriend that I'll never use the SSRI/SNRI/MAOIs. They did little to help my anxiety disorders, they messed up my dad, and the risks for side effects aren't worth taking. We'll see how it goes.

In all of my 8 years of Arbonne, I have never seen this many promotions in ONE MONTH....PART TIME!
There is seriously no better time then right now!
Posts like this one I copied below are those which assure me that my evolution and life choices, my need for growth and expansion, and to continue to strive for better, are exactly right and where I need to be!
Thanks to leaders, motivators, and boss-ladies like the one who wrote this, for the continued support and encouragement!
So, my friends, what is holding you back? “What you choose is what will be.
The power of choice is something so many of us take for granted.
We wish for a better body, and the truth is when we make the choice to fuel our body and move it, that better body starts to happen.
We wish for a better job, let’s be really honest here... How many of us are doing anything about it?!? I mean really putting ourselves out there getting uncomfortable investing time and often times... investing money? It is CHOICE and yet so many I interact with out and about day to day obviously dislike their jobs and yet they do NOTHING to change their situation.
How many of us wish for a bigger bank account? Except the financial thermostat set by our parents set the ceiling for us and we allow it to hold us back and keep us from dreaming BIGGER and envisioning ourselves earning more, giving more, investing more...
At 43 I am continually striving for more “more”. Not because I am discontent or feel like I have to have more “more” to find happiness. It is the deep desire to not want to stay in the same place for long, not emotionally, spiritually, physically, financially... It is to dream bigger and teach others to do the same. This excites me and fires me up! Teaching others what is possible and speaking life into their dreams.
Everyone deserves and can be and have and do more and have more “more” when we consciously decide to do it.
What is holding you back?
The first step is identifying the obstacle and setting a plan in place to find a solution around, though or over it.
Start owning your choices (or lack there of) and what you will find every time is more “more”!”
I love fall and the beautiful colors and reminders is brings. Change is always a constant along with everything else. Will you love the change or fight it? The only thing you can control is you so decide ahead of time how you want to react it it. Drama or calm - it’s up to you!!

Life is made of choices, you just have to choose which one you want to follow.
Does anyone write things down anymore?
I am a huge fan of writing what is in your head on paper. Those negative thoughts have no power on paper - where they belong. ✒️✏️✍️
Do you journal? Do you write down your feelings? Would love to hear who else does that... 👇🔽
