A Mt. Ijen miner carrying up a load of sulphur from the crater. Do you see those small people in the background? How about the extra small people? This miner carried up around 100kg of sulphur from where the extra small people are. The terrain is rough and unstable. Not really sure how these workers do this everyday from the crack of dawn till the early evening. I was told each miner gets paid about 10,000 IDR per 10kgs, so $10 a load.
Happened upon a range of glaciers driving the ring road along the south coast of Iceland! They were so powerful, weaving their way through the mountains that were stretching far up into the clouds! Here’s a mountain I caught driving down the highway!
