Students unloading hives at Good Eat’n Honey near Hepburn.
Saskatchewan has the 2nd highest amount of bee colonies in the country! And we produce 25% of Canada's honey. Amazing! 🐝 🍯
Writing this Prairie Palate story for @cbcsask made me happy. It's doom and gloom for bees in other parts of the world, but not here.
Thanks to our climate and agriculture, bees are able to produce honey flows not possible in many other regions.
Here's a look at just some of the beekeepers I met this year helping these incredible creatures thrive so we can all enjoy local honey - link’s in profile.
Looking for that perfect wine and dine experience?🍷🍽 Over the Hill Orchards is an organic orchard that overlooks the Qu'Appelle Valley and is found only a short 20-minute drive north of Regina! For 19 years, Dean and Sylvia Kreutzer have grown their business into much more then just producing wine with a wide variety of fruits, but to also branch out and partner with the CCFCC Regina Branch Chef's Association to host a unique supper in the orchard experience every Friday and Saturday from May through to October. Local chefs come to the orchard to prepare a multi-course supper using mainly ingredients from local farms and of course, from the orchard. Each course is paired with one of the orchards wines, and (weather permitting) an orchard tour is given between courses to see how the "farm to fork" process is used. With two more suppers on October 26th and 27th, find out more about booking your seat at “Supper in the Orchard” by visiting overthehillorchards.ca.
Experience the beautiful view of the valley, go on a tour of the orchard and taste some of the best food and wine. This is one road trip worth taking that your taste buds will not regret. 🍷🍽 #ExploreSask@overthehillorchards
One of my personal favs sold today 💗
This one just kind of flew out of me in reference to my love of exploring the prairie grasses around my acreage when I was growing up in the south west of Sask. And the rolling hills and coulees collected around Medicine Hat. #lifewithfawn

Today’s spooky Canadian location is Darke Hall in Regina, Saskatchewan! This location was built in the late 1920s, Darke Hall has become a historical relic for the performing arts. Today, it's still a go-to place to watch a musical performance but rumor has it that the ghost of Francis Darke, the building's namesake likes to sneak into concerts, take a seat, and vanish when the show is over. •

On this episode, aka the SEASON 4 FINALE, we head to a location well hidden between Wroxton & Calder!
Little was known about this location that Ryan and his Dad came across earlier on in the year while out on a little Photography adventure. Ryan thought it looked really creepy and cool and figured hey, lets do an episode here!
From asking around to learn about the location, there were some that didn't know it existed and there were some that said they heard people in the area say they seen Unidentified Objects, UFO's (both on the ground and in the sky), possibly a Sasquatch sighting and other odd things.
After driving past it several times (as it's well hidden in the trees), Ryan and Cole found the area and proceeded to film the episode. We did the day time filming and then left to return to film during the night.
Night time adventure was going well. explored the grounds, checked out the graveyard and then entered into the church to do an EVP session.
Before beginning the EVP, both Cole and Ryan mentioned that they felt comfortable and were not feeling too much.
Once the EVP session began within the Church, things began to turn south!
There was a moment, near the end of our EVP session, where you see Ryan quite startled and surprised from the events happening.
This was the first time in 4 seasons filming Knights Of The Dark, that we felt "threatened" to this level, enough that we abandoned our EVP session and anxiously left to return to the Access7 vehicle!
FRIDAYS at 11:30 pm only on ACCESS 7 Cable TV.
