Got to spend some quality time with these two Haitian 🇭🇹 Beauties yesterday before flying back to our Tampa reality. Sunny ☀️and 65 degrees on their deck so we did a little fashion shoot (note the matching pants) 🌱😎🌱
Meanwhile a delicious Haitian stew was bubbling on the stove for lunch. 🌱😋🌱
Last shot at RDU at the gate, waiting for our flight ✈️ home. Thank you Orelien Family for making this German Irish Scotch and English man feel like a Haitian for the last five days. You opened your hearts, your house, and your kitchen to us and I truly felt like I was home. Miss you all! Give VJ a high five for me. 🌱❤️✌🏼🌱
Just because the sun isn’t shining doesn’t mean you shouldn’t! Get out of bed or your couch and go out and do something new!
Make every day count! You are luckier than many other people in the world! Many people don’t have a phone, many don’t have internet, many cannot see!
Take advantage of your gifts & have a wonderful day! 🚀
I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful family and great friends in my life that constantly remind me of how much I’m loved. It was like 3 days of celebration this weekend and so much fun! I believe and declare that 29 will be a great year! #family#birthday#love#positivity
Family ♥️ I have everything and more... my biggest bless in world 🌎
It is with great sadness for me to post this terrible news but my brother in law Steve Bouley lost his battle with cancer today. If you knew Steve you know he was a very kind friend, grew husband and a great father. Steve will be truly missed by everyone close to him. He will never be forgotten.
Never got to tell you how much I appreciated it when you came to my fathers funeral service at the mosque and joined us all in the prayer even though you didn’t practice the religion and neither did I. It really showed me how much of a stand up and respectful guy you where! And I really appreciated the times you visited me in the hospital when I was battling my own sickness. I will truly miss you man. Rest easy ✌🏻 brother 🙏🏻 Your suffering has ended.
To my sister, niece Jacqueline daughter and nephew Jesse, please accept my most sincere condolences. Be strong guys. I will be of the grid for a few days anybody want to reach me text me. ✌🏻 #rip#restinpeace#fuckcancer#brotherinlaw#veteran#fighter#husband#father#strongman#airforce#family
My mom always says “love you more”! For some reason when she said it on the phone tonight it got me thinking. She loves me when I call her to tell her something goofy she probably doesn’t even care about, when I’m crying, when I don’t feel good, when I snap on her without realizing it, and in so many other moments...but her biggest gift of love was bringing me to this earth. Mothers are so amazing. They give you hugs, pep talks, and all the love you could imagine [even when you don’t deserve all of it]... even when they have a million other things to worry about. They stop what they are doing just to be there to listen to you, hug you, and give you whatever form of love you need in the moment. So make sure you thank your mama and give her an extra hug because she’s amazing and does so much more for you than you could even begin to think of. 💗
Exactly two years ago I sat down in front of the ocean to meditate and pray. I asked for exactly this.
I opened my heart. I decided it was time for me to trust and love again.
You have to trust. You have to pray. You have to be patient.

October is Pastor appreciation month! We wanted to say a special thank you to these incredible pastoral leaders who serve our family so week!
Katie, serve our kids by preparing lessons throughout the week and regularly leads our young children in Nursery and pre-k classes.
Kim serves our hospitality team with by creating an inviting space after service for people to connect with each other! She bakes those amazing cookies and makes that amazing cookies - she is helping to create our amazing community!
Kjersten leads our kindergarten - fifth grade where she helps kids engage with the gospel and walk in discipleship.
We are so thankful for these leaders and how they serve our community. When you see them this next week will you also encourage and thank them for their selfless leadership?
How brightly glistening in the sun
The woodland ivy plays!
While yonder beeches from their barks
Reflect his silver rays.
That sun surveys a lovely scene
From softly smiling skies;
And wildly through unnumbered trees
The wind of winter sighs:
Now loud, it thunders o'er my head,
And now in distance dies.
But give me back my barren hills
Where colder breezes rise;
Where scarce the scattered, stunted trees
Can yield an answering swell,
But where a wilderness of heath
Returns the sound as well.
For yonder garden, fair and wide,
With groves of evergreen,
Long winding walks, and borders trim,
And velvet lawns between;
Restore to me that little spot,
With grey walls compassed round,
Where knotted grass neglected lies,
And weeds usurp the ground.
Though all around this mansion high
Invites the foot to roam,
And though its halls are fair within an hour
Oh, give me back my HOME!

“Mama and Daddy, thank you for taking me to Chuck E Cheese.” Due to previously attending friend birthday parties here, we fulfilled her birthday request with a crazy Tuesday family celebration. We came, we played and we ate the pizza all within an hour. We most definitely conquered and her face made it all worth it✨
