Teaching my secrets to big sculpted biceps. This past weekend I had them incorporate static holds and tempos and pausing at the high point of contraction each rep to create those peaks we all talk about. Very humbling technique I think they can agree on as well.
My style of training is “think smarter not harder”. If you can master your muscle with your mind you can smash everything else there after so I teach how to FEEL the muscle and be the muscle then we kick it up from there.

November 2011 vs August 2018. There’s no other way I’d rather live my life than being the healthiest version of me I can be. I was 25 years old and felt like I was trapped in an older woman’s body. I always dressed up and felt pretty even at my heaviest, but inside I knew I wasn’t going to live long if I didn’t take better care of myself. I cried myself to sleep almost every night, and I remember praying to God to give me strength to not give up on myself. The choice is hard to make, but once I made it, I knew there was no going back. The only way I’d succeed was to avoid all the junk food and sodas all together. I was strict and firm on my fit journey until I felt strong enough to not allow one treat meal ruin my progress and weaken my willpower. It took months, but eventually I was able to walk into any store without even glancing in the direction of the snack/junk isles. I used Myfitnesspal app and tracked my calories to the very last item I consumed that day. I made it a point to get out of my apartment and walk/run my miles even when I wasn’t feeling it. Had I only exercised when I “felt like it” I would of never been able to be succeed. The journey to fitness is not easy for anyone, it’s not just a physical struggle because your mind also plays a huge role.☝🏼With that being said, always remember that you’re body won’t go where your mind doesn’t push it! ✅@adry_bella✅ BE STRONG, LIVE LONG💟
A lot of people seem to think that successful or healthy people are motivated all the time. That couldn’t be further from the truth. No one is motivated 100% of the time. NO ONE.
That’s the question I get asked the most- “how do you stay motivated all the time?” The answer is, I don’t. I have discipline. I have goals and that’s what keeps be going.
Motivation will come and go. You have to have enough discipline to get up and workout even when you don’t feel like it. You have to be disciplined enough to say no to the extra treats and over-eating if you are trying to lose weight.
Just remember what your goals are and keep using them to keep you going. Don’t stop until you’ve met your goals.
Another huge help is a coach. Someone to hold you accountable and is objective towards your progress or lack of. Someone who checks in with you at least weekly to keep you going.

When you put those shorts on and they fit like Day 2 unwashed instead of Day 1 fresh out of the dryer (y'all know what I'm talking about)! I know what it feels like to not feel good in your own skin. In those shorts you JUST bought a size *up* in and they're tight already.
To go into your closet and always resort to the dark shirts and black skirts and dark jeans because darker means they have a ‘slimming effect ’
To try your hardest to stick to a new plan... get a week in and feel like you’re STARVING or have a moment of crisis with the nearest ice cream drive thru place and throw away all your results on the weekend because you just can’t take it anymore.
To avoid intimate time with your spouse *with the lights on* because you don’t feel confident in your skin.
Believe me. I’ve been in each of these. And I want you to know.... you’re not alone.
It wasn’t until I finally threw away looking for a ‘quick fix’ and found something that taught me how to enjoy all food groups, yummy recipes and a workout routine that I can fit into my busy mom life that things finally clicked.
