  • Sometimes you just have to take a breath and let things be. You can’t always have everything organized and under control, you can’t always be 100% put together, and you can’t be perfect. I’ve been extremely overwhelmed lately with school, work, the gym, and just life in general. I like to remind myself however, to be grateful for these things and try not to over stress. Don’t fill your head with worries. 💜

  • #transformationtuesday 2014➡️2018 - This transformation is just as much as physical as it is mental. On the left, I had yet to begin my fitness journey with a ton of self doubt and insecurities. I had just left a toxic relationship, all while coping as a young single mom. I turned to binge eating as my escape. - 4 years later, I’m healthier, stronger emotionally and physically, and constantly striving for growth. Fitness, while consistently making myself a priority has seriously changed my life. - I know what it’s like to feel lost, confused, insecure about my body, depressed and unhappy with myself over all. It sucks! - I reached a breaking point and was tired of feeling that way. I knew in my heart I deserved better and that there was more to life than to just settle. - So I made the decision to run from a past I didn’t want to own. I could have very easily chosen the victim road but instead took action and made gradual changes with my health, began to hit to gym 3-4 time a weeks (eventually 5x) and followed numerous fitness pages to keep me inspired. It’s now become a lifestyle due to all its benefits and how greatly it impacted my life. - Do not let your current circumstances or past define your outcome and certainty not your worth. Learn to trust the process and be patient with your self.   • You know what’s cool? We are in charge of our strength. And I am not just talking about my killer guns I’ve got here! 😉 I want to take a minute to appreciate how proud I am of the strength I have built for myself. I am no where near the same person I was, even six months ago when it comes to mental strength. Any time I would get hurt (heartbroken, friendship/relationship drama, etc) I would play the victim, and look to blame other people for my own weakness; not relying on myself, not being okay with who I was or what I believed I could be. But now, I can confidently say that I am unstoppable, meaning that I truly believe I do not NEED anybody to provide happiness (but i do love people so pls if u want to be my friend by all means 💛💛) and that when someone does not want to be in my life, that is THEIR loss. Not mine. . . Just like tearing your muscles to grow stronger, you can make yourself stronger by being torn down. Mentally, emotionally, spiritually. Every single time you’re hurt, or every single time you feel weak, you are only making yourself stronger. Isn’t that insane? We can literally take all of the hurt and pain that we have been through, and use it to launch us forward. 🌸 . . Happyyyyy Tuesday 💃🏻💃🏻

  • 10 tips para perder peso (parte 2) Come desayuno. El desayuno es el “jump start” del día. Es muy importante que lo hagas. Está comprobado que la gente que desayuna es más Slim que las que no desayunan. Acuérdate que pasas unas 8 o 10 horas sin comer así que hace falta. Si apenas te levantas no puedes desayunar (a mí me pasa que tengo que comer después de hacer ejercicio no cuando me paro de la cama) está bien pero siempre desayuna. Evita el cereal que generalmente están llenos de azúcar. Come varias veces, frecuentemente. Esto te ayuda a que las porciones de las comidas principales no sean tan grandes porque ya comiste, te ayuda a mantener tus niveles de azúcar en la sangre. También cuando alimentas al cuerpo frecuentemente entonces él sabe que no tiene que almacenar fat en caso de que no haya comida después. Esto se remota a la época de las cavernas. Nuestro cuerpo estaba acostumbrado a comer cuando cazaba, pero luego si no se podía el cuerpo acumulaba el fat para que sirviera para energía cuando no había comida después. Un puñado de almendras o fruta a mitad de la mañana y/o a mitad de tarde te puede ayudar a controlar la ansiedad del mecato/chuchería. Ejercita. Este punto es importante pero no significa que tienes que ir al gym tres horas diarias, haz algo que se adapta a tu estilo. Duerme. Si puedes unas 8 horas genial.   • Here’s a caption I’ve putting to the side for a while now because honestly I’ve been struggling. I wanted time to myself to actually write my thoughts out & let them soak in. I didn’t know how to word this. I didn’t want to force it out. I knew it would come out eventually, so here we go. . . . September 27th marks ONE YEAR of my fitness journey (I’ll be making a post about that in a few days). I’ve had ups & downs, but the downs are what got me to where I am now. The downs make me appreciate the ups so much more. . . . Switching up my normal to routine to something completely different has been a challenge. I had all the time in the world in the summer to go to the gym & focus on “fitness.” Now that I’m in my senior year 😅 of college, I have been putting “fitness” on the back burner. Mentally - I’ve been drained. Physically - I’ve been exhausted. I’ve been taking more rest days than I’d like to & breaks from tracking, but I know what my body & mind need. Mental health is JUST as important as physical health. While dedication & consistency is important, you should also know when it’s time to take a little step back. Doing this has allowed me to miss the gym & find my drive again. I’m two weeks into my new training split / macros & my fire is lit again. I will continue to go after my goals with a purpose 💫 . Transitioning from a cut to an (intentional lol) bulk hasn’t been easy. I’ve been fighting old demons head to head. Just because I’ve come a long way from where I started does not mean I don’t still struggle. I’ve had more bad thoughts recently than I’d like to admit. But how I handle them now is what makes all the difference. I’m so glad I’m starting to adjust to this change.   • PLEASE READ AND SWIPE!! This is not your normal...I was overweight and lost weight transformation story. I am not in perfect shape now and I am not everyone’s body goals...however I AM HEALTHY! Swiping to my next photo...it’s shocking for me to see. I was anorexic. I was 18 I was 108 pounds and 5 foot 8 I ate 800 calories or less everyday. You could see my bones ... It’s heart breaking and I ended up in the hospital. Health and fitness has allowed me to re gain my health. I am currently 135 pounds. I am almost 30 pounds heavier and I will live a much more rich and happy and healthy life being 30 pounds heavier. Competing with the @wbff_official as a bikini pro diva is beautiful and it allows me to show how far I have come and will go! Will I ever be 100% cure of eating disorders? Probably not but I can battle the thoughts with good options . My past allows me to be a better coach and humble for all that I have been able to do and hustle for. If you are struggling with eating disorders please reach out to a friend or family member or even me...I’ll listen and offer as much help as I can . And if you are looking to transform yourself into a new stronger and happier women I am taking on clients. Happy Tuesday babes 🥀

  • Don’t mind my face in the first photo I wasn’t ready 🤷🏼‍♀️😂. I have very few photos from my teens and early 20s. I was very self conscious and hated my body. Here is a little transformation to show what I’ve accomplished throughout 7 years. First photo is 2011 with my thicker midsection 😳. Second photo was about a month ago. Slightly more defined and guess what in both photos I was around the same weight! From 07-09 I was at about 140 lbs. which was brutal and I never worked out. From 2010-2013 my weight stayed in the mid 120’s. Still no working out just calorie deficit. I thought I needed to be lighter to be happy with myself. I was very wrong and hardly happy. Everyone around me suffered with the miserable/insecure me. In 2014 weight started to fluctuate again. My solution? Cardio. It wasn’t until early 2016 I started to incorporate weights slightly and the T25 program. Finally in 2017 I took it full force with my training routine and more weights. Then I noticed my body changing quicker! Sometimes it takes years to build a better you. We have successes, we have failures and of course we have life situations. It’s a learning process.
