  • F e e l s L i k e H o m e 🇾🇪Twee kinderen en heel wat ups en downs verder sta ik hier en voel ik mij thuis. Sporten is een belangrijke basis voor mij. Iets waardoor ik mij goed voel in mijn hoofd en lijf. Sinds mijn tweede zwangerschap is het nog meer een luxe geworden. Dus juist op vakantie waar ik meer tijd heb, is dit iets waar ik van geniet. Once we begin to believe we deserve more, our approach to so many things shifts as our standards rise.. an approach that’s fearless & not feeble. - What do u believe abt yourself? If anything negative comes 2 mind, think of ways u can adjust lil things in ur daily life so they eventually reroute into positives. After treading the same path for so long w no change in results we need to be v honest w ourselves. We don’t grow when we make excuses but adjustments. love, hugs & 1 forehead kiss🦋x

  • This smile is so genuine 🤩 I seriously loved being on that stage! I’m also happy this whole rollercoaster is over tho, I’ve been enjoying so much food since the competition 😅 I went out for lunch like 5 times this week, + I have a high tea with @celinescipio tomorrow 😏 But this doesn’t mean I’m letting myself completely go when it comes to food. I make sure I stay around my maintenance calories, so I keep my ‘at home meals’ super healthy and a little lower in calories 🤷🏼‍♀️ Nothing magical, just keeping it balanced 😌 I’ve just started my reverse diet, and I want to do a lean bulk for the next few months. I don’t have any competition plans for the future yet, right now I’m focussing on getting my health & strength in check again. But when I look back on the stage photos I get all warm & fuzzy inside 😍 So I might just decide to compete again at some point! How about you? Ever thought about competing? 😊

  • We tend to over complicate ourselves when it comes to motivation. I would like to think that the tough days are EXTRA tough because of being tired... mentally and physically. That if I drag myself to the gym I’ll somehow get a supernatural strength that didn’t exist 15 mins before. That I’ll crush this workout and laugh at my past tense self saying.. HA! See! You just needed to jump in and you’re a beast! 😩 I would like to think that that’s the secret formula. And sometimes that DOES happen. But not so easy there sweetheart! You have a universe with you! Your mind and body connection are in need of some serious breathing. Some days your motivation will be on level: LOW and no amount of preworkout or hyping yourself up will work. You do a lazy workout and strangely feel WORSE because now you’re beating yourself up about your lousy workout. My depression will whisper sweet travesties in my ear: “What’s the point?” “Just give up” and it soaks up any glimmer of motivation. YOU. NEED. TO. BREATHE. #fuckdepression If you do not suffer from depression, and you feel like you can get your workout in.. just do it. On days you are struggling to get there... just swap your rest day to TODAY and workout the next or whatever. ITS NOT THAT COMPLICATED. On days like this I have advice:: 🌻Eat Whole Foods. Your body needs some real care on days like this. 🌻Drink water. Lots of it. 🌻 Go for a walk outside. If you’re an average Jill like me.. you missing a day at the gym is NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. You’re not getting paid. It’s not your job. Just eat well on this day! 🌻lastly BREATHE. Give your nervous system a break. No matter what is holding you down today, body, mind or soul.. just know you’re not alone. You’ll kick ass tomorrow. And that’s okay sometimes.   • Doing a lot more home workouts lately cause I’ve been crazyyy busy! Thinking of adding to my home gym collection so I’m not as limited and don’t have to be as innovative (for ex. the dumbbells only loaded on one side cause no clamps😂)⁣ ⁣ Not having any time is a BIG excuse I hear from people almost everyday. Some tough love coming at you...⁣ ⁣ I don’t want to hear it. 😬 ⁣ ⁣ You’re not the only busy person. I started my fitness journey when I was a full time student and we had up to 60 hour weeks. The school gym had VERY limited hours but I STILL found ways to get my workout in and at least do SOMETHING. ⁣ ⁣ I’m just as busy now as I was back then (I’m actually much busier) and most days I wake up at 5:30 or 5am in order to get everything done (yes on weekends too). ⁣ ⁣ STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM!! 🙅🏼‍♀️ I’ve seen people push through crazy difficult circumstances and reach their goals because they TRULY wanted it and were willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES. ⁣ ⁣ THIS SHIT ISN’T EASY. That’s why not everyone is successful lol. If you want to reach some massive goals, you have to be ready to take some massive action. Not make massive excuses!! ⁣ ⁣ Sit down and think about what your goals mean to you and find a way to reach them. If you’re not willing to do that, stop complaining that you don’t have time and that you’re not where you wanna be. No ones rewarding you a gold star for being “busy” so either find a solution or don’t complain. There’s people who have it worse than you who are smashing their goals because they were too determined to make excuses. So decide which person you’re gonna be! 🤷🏼‍♀️. . Beat by @shsi12

(A bridge to far) I decided to put the bridge which has given the name ‘de Oversteek’ (The Crossing) in the centre of attention now. And spend some time to stand back and just think of where it stands for. The bridge is real special. There are 48 lights on the bridge (which stand for the fallen American soldiers on that particular point) that light up every day in a particular speed and order to memory this moment.
