Yesterday was 6 weeks since I ditched the plastic.
6 weeks of redefining self love.
6 weeks of beginning a new journey toward multi-level healing.
6 weeks of loving my chest (and body) in its most natural state.
6 weeks of feeling more authentic when speaking on things like holistic, toxic free and all natural living.
6 weeks of hugging my daughter directly against my heart for the first time since she was born.
6 weeks of renewed energy.
6 weeks of increased mental clarity.
6 weeks towards regaining my life and vitality.
6 weeks since reclaiming my body for ME.
6 weeks using these new long scars as a permanent middle finger to the patriarchy and every institution that ever made me feel like I needed “perfect” tits to up my value.
6 weeks of growth.
6 weeks of learning.
6 weeks of magic.

I did a photoshoot today for the first time in years. And I didn't do a single thing to "prep" for it. I told myself I wouldn't eat chocolate for the 4 days of planning that I had leading up to it, and I couldn't even do that.
Yesterday I ate so many tortilla chips, my mouth was raw from all the salt. Then I had to balance that out with some mini Halloween chocolates (yes we still have those in the house). I'm not even mad about it either.
This is my lifestyle. And it feels so freaking good to be this comfortable in my own skin, and to not have to kill myself to look the way I do.
I 100% attribute this to having found a lifestyle of balance. I nourish my body and exercise regularly, but I also treat myself regularly. So cliche, but everything in moderation is truly what works for me.

When it’s National Premie Day, you brag on how healthy, happy and HUGE your premie baby is.
Listen, my birthing story is awful. I hated the whole after birth process because my baby was immediately sent to another hospital after he was delivered in an emergency C-Section. It was the hardest three days of my life, but the biggest blessing to our family. I could post for days about the bond that baby and his daddy got to have because of this situation or about the strength and will I discovered I had because I had to fight to be reunited with that babe ASAP. .
Regardless of that week, this babe has proved he is going to take on all expectations and blow them out of the water. He’s off the charts physically, loves his people SO big, and has the heart of an angel. He’s wild and crazy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We are still taking on some health challenges and fighting for him to be the healthiest version of himself, but this babe is up for the fight and will show the world how he will defy expectations 💕
That moment you make a decision to change your lifestyle to better yourself and the person you are, to become healthier and to feel good about yourself and most importantly to feel happier and healthier in all aspects of life.
So many opt for “the Magic Quick Fix” Unfortunately there is no such thing, just damn hard work, commitment and dedication of wanting a better life for not only yourself but for your family. This is what this incredible women chose and she has never looked back! What an inspiration she is to not only to other mothers but also those that finally decide that enough is enough.

Late night workout for the win!! After a day of Christmas shopping (which was paid for using the earnings from my side business 😉), I got my workout in! .
I had Muppet Babies on TV while Calton played, and I pulled the workout up using my phone. He played for ALMOST the entire time-he only wanted me to hold him during the last few minutes. 😃
Ladies, if you are TRULY interested in losing weight and becoming more confident in your own skin, you will lose the excuses and get started! I could have easily skipped my workout tonight-especially once Calton wanted me to hold him. But, I’ve learned how much better I feel once I just press play and get it done! Give yourself some grace, Mama! Your workouts will hardly ever be perfect (especially if you have little ones), but a workout that gets done is better than NO workout at all!
