Okay so, I found some photos of my tummy 2/2.5 years back and I can’t believe the difference. I knew I had made major progress... but I didn’t really realise just how much. There is no rush to your fitness journey.You can take breaks, have bad foods, and enjoy life. I love having a balance and healthy lifestyle, I do it for myself. It’s not a race, it’s a journey. (ps: soz about the pj’s in the first picture lmao).
Fall comes with cooler temps and warmer meals - although that doesn’t mean my freezing cold iced coffee is going anywhere! After a summer of fun, I’m feeling more than ready to jump back into a solid routine. Since our days can sometimes go haywire, I like to make sure I have healthy and delicious meals and snacks prepped and ready to go in the fridge so I’m never scavenging at the bottom of my purse for a protein bar. ⠀
The tricky thing about this time of year, however, is that it while it feels like a reset period, it does come with its fare share of all the fun stuff - football games, apple cider donuts, Halloween candy… and before you know it, the holidays will be just around the corner! So what’s a gal to do when she wants to stay on track, but also enjoy all the fun activities this season brings? Track macros!⠀

PILATES FOR CORE STRENGTH
Having core strength is one of the most important things - we need it to support our upper body (preventing back pain) and to improve balance and stability for the lower body.
I work with Imogen every week to improve her core strength amongst other things and using props really help assist the client and provide them with some comfort and confidence during strengthening techniques. By using the small soft ball, Imogen has shown so much progression which is so rewarding for both of us and makes me so proud 🤗
