Shapely calves are 😍 So don’t skip your CALF training 💪🏽
Did you know that your calves are comprised of 2 muscles? Well, they are! In order to hit both of them and get your calves to POP you need to include 2 different variations in your workout(s)
1️⃣ Straight Knee
This angle hits the Gastrocnemius. There can be a wide variety of machines in your gym for this angle, you can even use the leg press! Just make sure your knees are straight & locked out, you quads are engaged, and your glutes are flexed 💪🏽
2️⃣ Bent Knee
This angle hits the Soleus. Typically gyms have a seated calf machine to hit this angle. Make sure you get a full, deep stretch- then flex hard and get up on those tippy toes!
❤️ TAG someone that wants shapely calves and try this out!
Time to write the next chapter of my book called LIFE!..Many have asked me WHY...my answer, "Sitting on my butt and complaining is not in my blood. I'm an action taker, always have been. We sit back a talk crap about a system, but yet no one is willing to step up and take on the job themselves... .
As this FDL challenge comes to an end I’m am literally SHOOKKKKK. This is only 8 weeks. I’ve not only seen physical changes, but mental as well. Flexible dieting has taught me that it’s okay to slip up sometimes, and it’s okay to have those foods you absolutely love. This time last year I would have planned EVERY SINGLE CHEAT MEAL, that I allowed myself only once a week. I had no “unhealthy” foods in my house. I emptied cabinets, fridge, the freezer, literally everything. I didn’t even know what “macros” were until this challenge, and yet I was still so strict on myself. 🤦🏻♀️ It’s okay to love your body in EVERY SINGLE phase. Am I where I wanna be? Absolutely not, but I’m still gonna eat my chicken, and my Oreos and ice cream and keep going because I know that it’s all gonna be okayyyy 👌 Mentally, and physically I feel amazing! If you would’ve asked me 8 weeks ago if I thought I would transform my body like this I probably would’ve laughed tbh. You’ve got to trust the process. Gains and changes and don’t happen over night, it takes times. Did I wanna give up through this progress? A few times, actually, but I’m so glad I didn’t. These pictures just make me want to work that much harder! And last but not least, thank you to my favorite @jordynliftlove for helping me through this, so much love for you❤️ #feedyourmuscles#fitfam#fitthick#findyourstrong#fitnessmotivation#transformwithfdl#iwontquit#timetoshine#letsgoooo#iifym#8weeks

I woke up in @fashionnova 🧜🏼♀️ little fact about the little ocd me; I can’t wear non matching underwear 😂 even though nobody can look through your clothes, it’s just a feeling that everything has to be right and matchy underneath lol. Who can relate? And what kind of lingerie do you prefer to wear? (especially during workouts for example) #novababe#fashionnovacurve
Training chest is as important for women as it is for men.
Chest training helps you develop strong shoulders, triceps, and front deltoids.
Women also recieve the added benefit of firming the chest by developing the muscle behind it.
Definitely include barbell or dumbbell presses on your upper body day!
