  • We are human & occasionally fall off track, but the key is to come back even stronger than before 💪🏽 my 4 month transformation . I debated posting this bc I am honestly embarrassed about myself on the left 🙈 but this is reality, I don’t always look on point and have a super tight waist 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m not perfect 🤯 lol! I was coming off of a long vacation and there I let myself enjoy whatever I wanted to eat... and drink 🍹😈. Leading up to my trip, I was also working extremely long hours 👩🏽‍💻, pretty stressed out 😩, and was half assing my workouts. Basically, I wasn’t giving it my all and was making excuses for why that was ok. . After my trip I took my progress pics bc I knew it was time to face the truth. I was shocked 😳 but I realized that it was time to seriously buckle down and push myself. I developed a brand new diet, weight lifting, and cardio routine for myself that I was excited about and got to work 💪🏽 . I could’ve easily avoided taking progress pictures when I knew I wasn’t looking my best. It’s SO easy to avoid facing reality, but the only person we are lying to are ourselves 😔. Instead I looked at it as I had so much room to GROW and IMPROVE myself 💗 I was actually excited to make progress and see myself change weekly. . If you have fallen off, you’re never alone! The key is to be honest with yourself, figure out the steps you need to take in the right direction (even if that means working with a professional), and get to workkkkkk 💪🏽 it won’t be easy, but it’ll be worth it ✨ . Ps I’m sure I will be asked- I actually got LEANER and GAINED weight in the 4 months and went from 129 lbs to 134-136 lbs. This is the power of the correct diet & workouts!

  • 2006 Young Dro knew what was up. . . Kinda funny story...I drove to @universityfitnessgym last night thinking it was back day. (I have certain gyms for certain workouts.) Started working back. I received a call from someone...special enough to pause the workout...who, during the convo, asked “what’re you working on? Shoulders?” Then it dawned on me...IT WAS IN FACT SHOULDER DAY AND NOT BACK DAY!!! 😱😫 At the conclusion of this convo, I decided to switch body parts...and therefore had to go to my “shoulder” gym. Yes...I left mid workout to drive to another gym and I will soon have a THIRD gym membership. Let me live. 🤷🏼‍♀️ . . The workout: 1. I began with a heavy machine/light barbell press superset. 2. Cable laterals. I usually prefer laterals (and pretty much all shoulder isolation) on the cables as if keeps a constant tension on the medial delts (or other targeted part of the delt). I start these out at a moderate weight and work my way DOWN instead of up but take every set to failure. 3. Cable front raises. Slight crossover towards the midline of your body. It’s how I feel it most. 4. Rear delt flies. Crossing under my legs and bringing it towards the front of my body. 5. Per usual...my hatred of the typical cardio brings on the plyos.   • #Skwaats 🍑 Yesterday was another one of those days •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I wanted to make an excuse (or 5) to not do legs. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Kid had a football game, so I knew I was gonna be late to the gym, I started to tell myself “meh, I’ll just do some cardio circuits and maybe hit legs tomorrow instead” •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I didn’t even have the right shoes to do squats, so that was one excuse •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “if I start them now, I’m gonna be here forever” was another one •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I didn’t take any preworkout and I don’t have any” was yet ANOTHER excuse •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But finally, I said “fuck it, I’m doing this” •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ended up getting in a great leg day. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This week, for whatever reason, is presenting somewhat of a mental challenge for me to get my workouts in. But I’m fighting to push past those barriers and those excuses, because nobody else will put in this work, I am the only one that can get the results I want by doing the work that needs to be done. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Everyone gets into slumps, nobody is perfect, but we all have a choice. Choose to do and be the best. Don’t put it off until tomorrow. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #LegDay #NoExcuses
