I received a message from a lovely lady yesterday that said “Your page has made me realise that I can change my body and also that you can still enjoy life eating healthily!” This is the reason I post almost everything I eat to this thang!! I used to starve myself thinking I was ruining any hard work I had put in at the gym. I used to starve myself because I felt guilty to eat food. When I finally realised food is the actual one, that’s when I saw change! Food is the fuel that allows us to live every day, to challenge our bodies, to push ourselves that little bit further, to work up even more of a sweat. It lets our bodies perform, adapt, become stronger, more powerful, and grow. You can do this without starving yourself of everything you love, food and social life included! Don’t cut every carb out because they are the ‘devil’ 🤦🏻♀️ Don’t do a juice diet because the advert told you it would make you slim. Don’t deprive your happiness because no one wants to be sad. Don’t think you can’t treat yourself. Don’t never drink or enjoy a glass of your favourite something something. Find a balance and find what works for you. Balance is realistic and balance is long term!
