We’re picking up my son from camp this weekend & starting to clean out the fridge, so we can restock it with all his faves ✨ Using the last of my farmers market cherry tomatoes & zucchini + basil from my garden, dinner came together quickly and couldn’t have tasted fresher 😍..
The details 👉 Roasted cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, black olives and zucchini noodles all tossed with a homemade basil pesto (you can always use store bought!). Super simple & delish!.

all the sweet fruits and colors because it’s finally Friday! tried out @eatnuttzo organic power fuel smooth mixed nut butter on toasted @baseculture paleo bread this morning with strawberries, kiwis, and bananas. now all I need is a tropical drink in my hand... 😏 loved the texture of this nut butter with the added chia and flax seeds! and they now sell big jars of them at @costco.. who wants to go on a date?! i could spend hours there... 😅 seriously. hope everyone has the best weekend! // #matchaandmargs

Last night I found out that after next weekend, my work schedule shifts to 3-midnight on weekends ... but I’ll still be doing my usual 8:30-6:30 Wed-Fri. I’m an early riser by nature (9pm bedtime, anyone else?! 👵🏻) so I’m a little nervous about the back and forth 😬 I’d love to hear any tips you guys might have because my schedule will be like this for at least six months! 1/2 cup @suncorefoods Organic Hulled Hemp Seeds
2 cups filtered water
Dash of fine sea salt
Berry Vanilla Overnight Chia Oats
1 1/2 cups hemp milk
1 serving @suncorefoods Vanilla Açaí Protein Shake
1 tsp @suncorefoods Blue Butterfly Pea Superjuice Powder
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 cup maple syrup (or less, to taste)
Dash fine sea salt
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
3 Tbsp chia seeds
1. Prepare homemade hemp milk by blending hemp seeds and water. If desired, strain milk (I didn’t strain mine)
2. Blend 1 1/2 cups hemp milk with protein shake, superjuice powder, blueberries, maple syrup, and salt
3. In a medium bowl, mix berry milk mixture with oats and chia seeds. Give a quick stir and refrigerate. After 30 minutes or so, stir your oat chia mixture and return to refrigerator until morning
4. Serve and top with your fave toppings - I did honey (mixed with a bit of superjuice powder!), coconut flakes, cacao nibs, and frozen blueberries. You will have extra hemp milk, so you can add more milk to your bowl if desired 💙

Plain and simple: oatmeal is the best and I think I’m addicted 😅 pretty sure this is day 26 in a row I’ve had it... ooooops!! During my run 🏃🏽♀️ this morning I was craving melted peanut butter, so i went back to my classic banana and peanut butter oats .... amazing 🙌🏻 Hope everyone has an incredible Thursday! Here’s how I make it: I took 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of @califiafarms almond milk, and cinnamon then soaked them all together overnight. This morning I put the oats in a bowl, microwaved them for 1 minute and then for 30 seconds, then I added @earthbalance peanut butter, banana slices, and a strawberry cut up!

~ Morning workout ~ 🕶 από την @aggeliki_koutelekou, Fitness Personal Coach. ➡️ 3 ασκήσεις, 10 επαναλήψεις για 3 σετ. ✔️Επειδή οι περισσότεροι το καλοκαίρι συνηθίζουμε να γυμναζόμαστε με χαμηλότερους ρυθμούς, θα πρέπει και η διατροφή μας να είναι ανάλογη.
Μετά την γυμναστική τα θρεπτικά συστατικά που θα βοηθήσουν περισσότερο είναι οι πρωτεΐνες, οι υδατάνθρακες και τα υγιή λίπη. ❗Η πρωτεΐνη αναπληρώνει τη βλάβη των μυϊκών κυττάρων, οι υδατάνθρακες αναπληρώνουν την απώλεια σακχάρου στο αίμα και τα καλά λιπαρά ελέγχουν τη φλεγμονή. Ανεξάρτητα από την ένταση της άσκησης προπόνησης, πρέπει πάντα να τρώτε μια αναλογία πρωτεΐνης 4: 1 σε υδατάνθρακες . Προσπαθήστε να φάτε το σνακ σας 15 με 20 λεπτά αφού ολοκληρώσετε την προπόνησή σας.
Ένα πράγμα που αλλάζει με την ένταση της προπόνησής σας, είναι το μέγεθος του σνακ σας. BANANA PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH DAY!!!!! This is really one of my favourite breakfasts. I love love love it. The amount of carbs and calories are higher than my normal protein focussed breakfast, but I am going to run 15 to 20 km today so need the carbs for the energy! I really consider this breakfast healthy for athletes / runners / cyclists because holds only good fats and good carbs☺️ but the best thing: IT IS DELICIOUS!! In the pictures I give you a small guide how to make them. Be careful: this is for two hungry people who want to run! Recipe below!
1. Grab some nice fresh full of nuts and seeds slices of brown bread
2. Put peanut butter on both sides, not to little, you have to really taste it
3. Cut and mash a bit the banana and smear it out offer the sandwich. Also again here, not to little, use one whole banana for I toast! I used three bananas for the sandwiches on the picture.
4. Squeeze the sandwiches firmly so they fit in the toaster
5. I set the toaster machine on 4 minutes, but mine is quite powerful. You can also use the pan but try not to burn it. In the pan flip it every 20 sec until golden brown at both sides
6. Cut them in triangles so it is easier to eat
7. DIG IN AND ENJOY
8. (Cooked some plain eggs for the extra protein 💪) ENJOY!!!!

I’m a lifelong foodie. Like, food obsessed. That person who yelps restaurants for vacations weeks in advance. I have always been health conscious, but as I’ve learned more about nutrition, I’ve come to find the healthiest meals are cooked at home. Oh, restrictions. That’s what brings me here to you. After 7 years of chronic migraines, and 4 years of debilitating fatigue, chronic pain, muscle pain, neuropathy, GI distress, nausea, and dozens of random troubling/mysterious symptoms - I am just recently starting to find answers through functional medicine. Less than a year ago, I read a book on chronic pain and came across GF/DF, dug deep into research and completely overhauled my diet, which was actually decent at the time but had some major flaws. Now, I’m healing myself slowly but surely with food and turning my health around. 🤞🏼
I deeply love musicals and all things performing arts. 🎭 Though I was never a prodigy, I did grow up participating in and surrounded by the arts - plays, vocal performance, dance (my favorite was ballet, duh). My mom teaches piano and most people in my family have a real talent for music.
