For as long as I can remember, I have been scared of the depth of the water. As I make my way toward 5 ft and feel myself getting on my tip-toes, I run back to safety, neck deep.
Fear comes in many forms. In essence, fear is an illusion inexistent in the physical world for it is neither tangible nor visible. But, it exists in our minds and manifests through our actions. However, it also plays a essential role in our lives. The key is to recognize between actions which induce a healthy acknowledgment of apprehension versus illogical triggers of fear which stifle our potential and limit our well-being because growth happens in the unknown. Growth takes place beyond the confines of our own comfort zone, beyond fear.
And now I know that there are far worse things than failing- like never knowing.

This letter to the ones I love, the ones that I miss
Brothers and sisters that hit me up just to reminisce
Meanwhile people outside of my blood asking for favors
I don't owe you a fucking thing, you best switch your behavior
