2 Frozen Bananas

This pic is epic for so many reasons. I am standing next to the @brvndonflexx the current @mrolympiallc champion in the Men’s Physique Division. This was my first international win and first time in Japan. This was also my 8th and final show of 2018. For those of you that have been following my journey this year, it started out on a high placing 6th at my first ever @arnoldsports. Then at Olympia, I placed in the sea of 16’s. I was heartbroken. Devastated. I questioned if I had what it took but I will say this....I NEVER GAVE UP! My coach @the_pro_ducer NEVER GAVE UP ON ME! My husband @gilbert006 NEVER GAVE UP ON ME! I was showered with love and support and went to work. Talk about a roller coaster ride of emotions. But you know what, it’s these experiences that give us a chance to test our mental strength. I told myself “I can. I am. I did.” I kept my head down and worked. This is the end result. I got my 6th @ifbb_pro_league win. I earned 8 points last night and now have a total of 19 points!!! Guys, I don’t care what your goals are....STAY FOCUSED AND NEVER STOP BELIEVING IN YOU!👊🏾 I stand before you honored and humbled to be the very first @ifbb_pro_league_japan_pro Bikini Champion! I have received an overwhelming amount of support from not just the fans of bodybuilding but from other IFBB Pro’s whom I have the utmost respect for. I am so grateful to everyone who has taken the time to text, message, send videos, and voice recordings saying how proud they are of me. This feeling right here makes all the tears of frustration and disappointment a distant memory. I am more motivated then ever to build on this win and continue to improve. 2019 I AM COMING FOR YOU!!!

Confidence level about next season has been iffy due to sitting out for some weeks feeling behind. But after today’s quad workout the best pump this week back in the dungeon got me feeling great! Easing back into the dirty training couple weeks we will be all the way dirty and ready to kill it for the 2019 season! A couple of today’s movements in videos. Slow it down on the eccentric part!

Front double bicep. I don’t think I have ever posted a picture of myself doing this pose before. I never thought it was one of my most impressive shots, that being said... I’m starting to like the way it looks :) oh and letting my body recover from the 1RM deadlifts this week, just went a bit lighter today and did more reps :)
