These WINTER VEGGIES mentioned above are among the healthiest veggies you can eat at any given point throughout the year but most of these hit their peak ripeness during winter! 🙌🌱 ➖ 'The calcium in dark green leafy vegetables is more effectively absorbed by the body than that found in cow’s milk. Potassium from greens may be anti-inflammatory and may prevent strokes and heart disease. Greens can also provide iron and zinc, antioxidants, and magnesium, a nutrient that may lower the risk of a range of health concerns including diabetes, heart disease, and sudden cardiac death. Green leafy vegetables are the best source of plant-based nitrates. Nitrates from a plant-based diet are not considered harmful. In fact, nitric oxide formed from plant-based nitrate may play a role in the prevention of heart disease and high blood pressure. ' ➖ 👉 ' Many nutrients found in greens are fat soluble, which means including some healthy whole food fats like nuts or seeds or a avocado, in a meal can help you better absorb the phytonutrients. High consumption in particular of green leafy and cruciferous vegetables may be linked to lower rates of cognitive decline. Greens can be an important part of a plant-based diet that could reduce risk for cardiac disease  and heart attack. Greens consumption is also associated with increased physical attractiveness, reduced facial wrinkling, improved dental health, better immune system, and may reduce free radical DNA damage.   • Zum Mittagessen 🍽 habe ich mir heute Grünkohl 🥬 mit Kartoffeln 🥔 und Bio-Kassler gemacht 😋 Mögt ihr Grünkohl? 😊 Normalerweise esse ich ja nur einmal die Woche Fleisch 🥩, aber das Stück Kassler war noch von letztem Freitag übrig 🤷‍♀️😊 Diese riesige Portion hatte 547 kcal, 47g Eiweiß, 63g KH und 8g Fett 📊 Rezept: Zuerst habe ich 4x Kartoffeln (353g) geschält und gekocht. Da ich noch keinen frischen Grünkohl gefunden habe, habe ich welchen aus dem Glas verwendet. Davon habe ich 300g zu den Kartoffeln gegeben und das Stück Kassler (117g) klein geschnitten und ebenfalls hinzugegeben und alles noch etwas köcheln lassen. Zum Schluss habe einen halben TL Senf hinzugegeben und mit Salz und Pfeffer abgeschmeckt👌 🇬🇧 kale 🥬 with potatoes and organic Kassler (smoked pork) Recipe: First i cooked 4x potatoes (353g). Then I added 300g kale from the jar, because I don’t find fresh kale yet. After that I cut the Kassler (117g) in pieces and added to the kale and the potatoes.   • Beautiful brassicas- this bed of winter broccoli, kale, cauliflower and cabbage is really coming into its own now that it’s getting colder. I eat little brassicas in summer, but come fall I can’t get enough of them! It helps too that they get sweeter after a few frosts🥦. What’s your favourite member of this versatile plant family?

Jgn lupa follow @devi.pentabiz supaya km bs update dgn resep2 yg akan datang Bahan kremesan: * Air kaldu/ air 1550ml * Kemiri 100gr * Ketumbar 7.5gr * Garam 12.5gr * Gula 12.5gr * Maggie block 1 (Optional) * Maizena 125gr * Tepung Beras 37.5gr * Kuning telur 2 Caranya: 1. Semua bumbu diblender dengan airnya dulu 2. Tambahkan Kuning telur, maizena dan tepung beras, aduk hingga rata 3. Panaskan minyak di wadah yg cekung sampai panas 4. Tuang adonan 5.   • Hello winter weather! Finally dropped into the 40’s here in Austin, TX! I love the colder weather! It makes me want to curl up by a fire and drink hot spiced tea and watch Hallmark Christmas movies #guiltypleasures. Anyway....so lately I have not been a big fan of meat. I also have been trying to eat more protein...which is hard when you don’t want to eat meat. Although I have not cut meat out of my diet, I have been making more plant based meals. This salad is asAMAZING as it is beautiful. Massaged kale (it was feeling stressed), roasted butternut squash (duh), goat cheese, chickpeas, quinoa, unsweetened dried cherries, and pepitas! Yumm! If you aren’t having weird adversities to meat, you could easily add some shredded chicken onto this fall salad. Literalmente somos lo que comemos! Estos son chips de kale deshidratados y sazonados con miel de maple, miso y sal de mar. Mucha gente que conozco no es fan de kale crudo porque puede llegar a ser muy duro y con sabor fuerte, pero cuando lo deshidratas en el horno en fuego lento, además de conservar todos los nutrientes maravillosos también la textura se hace crujiente y se deshace en la boca 🤤 #healthcoach #comidasaludable

So I popped in a whole wheat tortilla, sautéed some kale in coconut oil, fried two eggs 🍳 and then topped it with a lemon yogurt sauce, avocado, red chili flakes, and everything but the bagel seasoning 💥 . Not trying to brag 💁🏼‍♀️ but this recipe is a keeper!
