  • Half the time I’m ready for fall food but then I have a summer salad like this 😍🙌🏻 Quinoa, roasted chickpeas, fresh local tomatoes, and of course a few slices of avo 😎 Hit the spot for sure this afternoon 🤗 I’m not a huge fan of cooking a ton when it’s super hot out so this meal is an easy solution to that probably 👌🏻 I had to turn the oven on to make the chickpeas but only for 15 mins 💯 And everything else was no cook so I could be out of the kitchen doing other things while they roasted 😉 Not ready for summer veggies and fruits to leave- there’s just nothing better than fresh veggies 🍅 But I’m ready for this heat to leave 😂 Typical dilemma of life, you can’t have it all 🤷🏼‍♀️ Gotta just see the good in what you have 💫 So I used organic chickpeas from @thrivemkt and they’re not only cheaper than the organic ones at my local store (Aldi doesn’t even have chickpeas 🙃) but delivered right to my door 💯 It’s basically like an online health food Costco or Sams Club! The recipe is very traditional and I would share it with you if you want, send me a personal message! ┊ ┊ ┊DE┊Riesenbohnen mit Spinat und Reis gab es heute┊Ich teile gerne das Rezept mit euch, schickt mir eine persönliche Nachricht dann schreib ich es nieder!┊ Heute möchte ich etwas loswerden was mir schon länger auf dem Herzen liegt. Ich habe vor zwei Jahren mit Instagram begonnen um mir meine Ernährungsumstellung zu erleichtern und um meine Erfahrungen zu teilen. Daraus entwickelte sich dann ein Profil dass wieder andere inspirierte. Essen ist ein großes Thema auf der ganzen Welt. Die einen haben zu wenig, die anderen haben zu viel. Wir können nicht mehr wegsehen und denken dass regelt sich schon irgendwie. Ich schaue nicht mehr weg, ich möchte aufklären und helfen! Ich bin nicht hier um mich an Firmen zu bereichern oder Kooperationen abzustauben oder gar 100K in kürze zu erreichen. Ich wollte hier Menschen kennenlernen die die gleichen Visionen haben wie ich und ehrlich zu sich selber sind. Ich möchte die Welt ein kleines bisschen besser machen indem ich ein Vorbild bin für die folgende Generation! Sei selbst die Veränderung die du dir in der Welt wünschst! Meine lange Pause hat mir klar gemacht wie oberflächlich Instagram sein kann und dass ich mich dem nicht weiter anschließen werde. Mein Feed ist voll mit Bildern die so beginnen👉🏻 AD/Werbung enthalten ect. Meiner Meinung nach liegt es daran dass in what’s App Gruppen Panik gemacht wird weil es wieder irgendwelche neuen Gesetze gibt. Dort diskutiert die 'Community‘, so nennen sie sich, über belanglose Dinge wie z.B. wie bekomme ich mehr likes oder Follower, ist mein Bild heute gut angekommen, wer unterstützt wen um zu helfen, kann jemand meine Story schauen...blablabla! Ich bin dort nicht lange gewesen weil mich das alles nicht interessiert. Leider habe ich dadurch den Glauben an vielen Bloggern verloren. Sie unterstützen sich gegenseitig aber grenzen gleichzeitig Leute aus, die sie nicht mögen (also oberflächlich). Einige Arbeiten für bekannte Firmen und bearbeiten die Kooperationen (weiter in den Kommentaren)

  • What’s your favourite protein? When it comes to protein sources, I like to vary it throughout the week 🍽✔️ ⠀ Different sources of protein contain different essential vitamins and nutrients. Red meat is rich in vitamin B12 and iron whereas fish like salmon or sardines are high in omega-3 fatty acids. ⠀ Eating too much of the same foods over and over again not only gets boring but can lead to dietary deficiencies. ⠀ Here is what I usually choose from: Chicken or turkey 🍗 - white meat is the leanest choice, but I wouldn't give up on dark meat if you skip the skin. Both chicken and turkey give you about 22-25 grams of high-quality protein, along with B vitamins and selenium. Chicken is also easy to cook. ⠀ Beef 🥩 - lean meat delivers up to 27 grams of protein, along with a healthy dose of iron, zinc, vitamin B12 and numerous other nutrients. ⠀ Pork 🍖 - contains branched-chain amino acids BCAAs which are key in supporting muscle recovery. If you choose lean pork, it is not that high in fat. ⠀ Shrimp 🍤 type of sea food very low in fat (only 0.3g per 100g of shrimp) and gives you 24 grams of protein. It is reach in vitamin D, niacin, selenium and vitamin B12. Moreover, shrimp contain antioxidants such as astaxanthin, which reduces inflammation and oxidative damage. ⠀ Cod 🐟 is a great source of vitamins B3, B6 and B12, as well as omega 3 fatty acids, all of which provide benefits for heart health. Additionally, cod contains selenium, magnesium and potassium. it is packed with protein (18 grams), low in calories and has little fat. ⠀ Salmon 🐠it supplies iron, zinc, niacin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, in addition to a whole host of other nutrients you need for good health. It tends to be very high in heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. ⠀ I recommend you to vary your protein sources by incorporating fish, red meat, chicken, turkey, sea food but also eggs, beans, vegetables and #eggs to keep you feeling great and covering all your dietary deficiencies.   • ♿️👨🏻‍🍳Taco de tilapia en Crunch de parmesano. Plato de dificultad moderada con toques de sabores fuertes. Componentes: Tilapia.🎣 Platano verde.🍌 Queso parmesano.🧀 Chile en polvo.🌶 Mantequilla.🐮 Tomate.🍅 Cebolla blanca.😭 Cilantro. 🤑 Naranja.😡 orégano.🌳 Ajo en polvo.🤟🏻 Sal y pimienta.🚯 Elaboración: Sazonar la tilapia con ajo en polvo, orégano, chile en polvo, sal y pimienta. En un sartèn bien caliente dorar el pescado 5 minutos por cada lado y retirar. En el sarten poner tomates enteros, cebolla picada en 4 pedazos y dejar cocinar hasta obtener un color oscuro de los mismos. Licuar los tomates, las cebollas, él cilantro, el ajo en polvo, él orégano y zumo de naranja natural. Devolver la mezcla al sarten, cocinar por 5 minutos y arreglar sabor con sal y pimienta. Para el Crunch, en un sarten limpio agregar 5 cucharadas de queso parmesano, al notar que se empezó a dorar; Voltear y esperar a que dore el lado opuesto. Sacar rápidamente el queso parmesano y dejarlo reposar en la barriga de un vaso, hasta que este firme. Servir el pescado en el queso parmesano para simular un taco mexicano y asi poder bañarlo con la salsa. El toque: Al cocinar nuestro pescado solo quisimos sellar sus lados un corto tiempo para no perder la humedad en el centro del mismo.   • Today is actually going by pretty quickly, which is good because I’m going home this week and I want to leave DC already 😅 I’m kind of anxious because since this week is my last week here during my internship, I’m eating out more than usual or breaking up my normal routine, which is less “healthy” than I want it to be. But then I remind myself: it’s only a few days. Do I eat like this every other day? No. Will my body change significantly? No. Should I restrict to “balance out” what I’ll be eating? Uh, heck no.
