  • @haki_kweli_shakur November 15 1842 The Afrikan Slave Rebellion in Cherokee Nation ( Largest Slave Rebellion in Indian Territory History ) T- Shirt 👕: @hashtagklothing About 4:00 a.m., November 15, 1842, more than twenty-five slaves, most from Joseph Vann’s plantation at Webbers Falls, rendezvoused at a prearranged location near the port town. The blacks locked their masters and overseers in their houses and cabins while they slept. Then they burglarized the store of a man named Bigelow, stealing guns, horses, mules, ammunition, food, and supplies. At daylight the group, which included men, women, and children, headed toward Mexico, where slavery was illegal and many runaway slaves sought refuge. When the fugitive slaves entered the Creek Nation southwest of Webbers Falls, slaves from the plantations of wealthy Creeks named Bruner and Marshall joined them, increasing the number of runaway to more than thirty-five. Within a few days of the escape, the Indians caught up with the blacks about ten miles beyond the Canadian River in the Choctaw Nation. The slaves found a depression in the prairie which provided a complete entrenchment for them and their horses, and they decided it would make an excellent place to fight. A pitched battle followed, with both sides suffering casualties. The blacks held the position for two days, but the Indians killed two of them and captured twelve others. The fight convinced the Cherokees and Creeks to go home and get reinforcements before continuing the chase. The remaining fugitives kept moving toward the Red River. During their flight, the fugitives met James Edwards, a white man, and Billy Wilson, a Delaware Indian, about fifteen miles from the battle site. Edwards and Wilson were fugitive slave hunters, whom blacks in the South called patrollers or patty rollers. They had with them eight blacks–one man, two women, and five children–who had escaped in the Choctaw Nation. #makeamericapayreparations #slaverebellion #slaverebellions #fuckdonaldtrump #fuckcapitalism #slavery #indianterritory #workingclass #newafrikan77wordpress #seedifgabrielprosser #unitedstates #cherokeenation #slaverevolts #colonialism #Africans

This is Amerikkka! It ain’t about voting out the people in office. There’s simply more people voting that think this same way which is why they are voted into office if you believe in voting to begin with! Oh and guess what... today and tomorrow she will STILL be the state Senator of Mississippi. Maybe that’s her in the picture as a little girl, smiling, taking it all in! #makeamericapayreparations #amerikkka #thisisamerikkka ✊🏾

  • The system wants to you to focus on the bag. Their goal is to keep you focused on illusion they have put in place and uninterested in the evil crime being committed on the poor. People really don’t care but I refuse to be silent about this big epidemic. I refuse to pretend I’m not seeing people struggling in this system all around me. You all have something to fight for. If you knew better you’d be on my side instead of looking for holes in my stories. #bethechange #blacknationalism #freedomofspeech #makeamericapayreparations #blackpeople #poverty

  • #MakeAmericaPayReparations Virginia Land of Rebellion Westmoreland County-Northern Neck Virginia Slave Rebellion plot led by Sam discovered October 24th 1687: 1687 There was a large-scale plan for rebellion in the Northern Neck region of Virginia. This plan called for the extermination of whites, but the plan was discovered, and the leaders arrested and executed. Afterwards, the Council placed a ban upon public funerals for dead slaves, and the House of Burgesses passed stricter laws for the prevention of insurrections. Its leaders were executed. When authorities learned that the plotting was done under the cover of gatherings for slave funerals, they prohibited slave funerals. The next year, the Northern Neck was the site of another attempted uprising, this one led by “Sam, a Negro Servt to Richard Metcalfe.” A repeat offender, he had “several times endeavoured to promote a Negro Insurreccon in this Colony. “To deter him & others from the like evil practice for time to come,” the court ordered the sheriff of James City County to whip him severely, and return him to the Westmoreland County sheriff to be whipped again. Sam would forever wear “a strong Iron collar affixed about his neck with four sprigs.” Should he leave his master’s plantation or remove the collar, he would be hanged. The Historical Documented Account of The Plot On October 24, 1687, a panicked Nicholas Spencer provided Virginia governor Francis Howard, baron Howard of Effingham, and the governor’s Council with an account of a suspected slave conspiracy. Spencer, who lived in Westmoreland County, was himself a member of the Council as well as secretary of state. According to the Council’s journal, he provided “Intelligence of the Discovery of a Negro Plott, formed in the Northern Neck for the Distroying and killing his Maj[esty’s] Subjects the Inhabitants thereof, with a designe of Carrying it through the whole Collony of Virg[inia] . . . . . . . . . . . #Afrikan #panafrikan #virginia #blackbooks #blackexcellence #malcolmx #northernneckva #westmorelandcounty
