1:34:40! Second fastest time!
I’m pretty okay with this. The weather was all over the place. I prayed for it to rain when it got humid. I knew a PR was out of the question at mile 3-4. So I adjusted and moved on.
The difference is that I wanted it, but I didn’t need it. And for that reason, I can move on quickly. It’s time to work, and I’m freaking pumped for this next round of training.
Cheers fam 🔥♥️

There is just something about running in the rain that I love... anyone else?! 💦🏃🏼♀️ Adding some shorter mileage on Sundays now until the marathon for recovery. Felt great- kept the HR low and in conversation pace the entire time.
Happy Sunday!! ✌🏻

Inspired by many amazing performances last night.
Far from where I wanted to be, or the race I thought I was capable of - but a lot to be learnt.
Onwards from here. The season is far from over ❤️ By @camillebuscomb

Those feels after an amazing run! 13km felt like 5! This pic is from Thursday; but I’m about to head out and attempt a 17km shortly, whoop!
I wanted to say- it’s easy to look at my Instagram and think “it’s easy for her to run, smashing out the marathon training”.
Well, LET ME TELL YOU. When I first started training for this marathon- 2km felt HARD AF! I do have a good base level of fitness, but running is so different!
You don’t see all the terrible runs, the slogging it out runs, the painful knees and icepacks after.
I want this to inspire people- that you CAN start running- just a little bit at a time- and it starts to get easier! If you are consistent and following a good schedule (one that doesn’t jump up in km too fast or put you over 3 runs a week) you will slowly start to feel that 2km get easier, and then 5km, and then 10km! It’s fricking amazing what the body adapts to do. I am constantly surprised that I can keep adding kilometres into my runs when last time I did 15km, I thought I would die!
So if you want to be a runner- just start! I PROMISE it gets easier. Walk when you need to, take your time, and you’ll be amazed at what your body can achieve!
Trying out my new #ChiaCharge gear on my run on Friday night
42ish miles in 12ish hours
Made a slightly odd choice of heading out for a run on Friday after work with the aim of not stopping until morning. It was an odd experience running with the head torch for most of the way and without any support. That said it did enjoy it... Although the field full of cows staring at me with glowing eyes freaked me out! With an upcoming ultra that I am running for @cftrustuk it was good to do something a bit different and remind me of why I do this stuff. Sorry to Mrs McAllister for worrying you, it was something I wanted to prove to myself but I hope it didn't stress you too much.
Look in my bio for more info on what I'm doing in why.
Finally collected the most special and cool running medal.
Two medal can combined together and it also the only which have my name on it as well as the running shirt.
The best part is I completed it with a birthday girl @abc9207 .
Fitness is not a behavior. It’s a result of choices and actions...most of which aren’t taking place in a gym.
It’s a lifestyle.
Overall, human movement derives from 5 basic movements:
•bend & lift
•single-leg (exa., step up)
?!?!?! But, what does this have to do with the picture in this post?!
@herfilmdiaries captured this serene scene while some of the horses (there’s three there) were calmly waiting for me to share treats.
Calm. Serene. Yes, but it takes a lot of work for @mellwallis and her mom to have such happy horses!
😏Just about every combination of the 5 forms of human movement is utilized during work on a horse farm!
Of course, there are infinite areas to enjoy fitness whether for fun or while you’re working.
So...enjoy a fit lifestyle in your own style and in a wide variety of environments...for the health of it!
Vamos pra cima, meus amigos! Amanhã tem mais!
