It’s not hard to wake up early in the morning when you have views like this to greet you bright and early. Can you spot @erubes1 on his morning paddle ? Even harder, can you spot @robstrok and I stalking him with the drone.
Stay Adventurous Dear Friends!!

Sunset above the Lysefjord 😍
Interested in some facts? The waterfall on the left is 715m high, the mountain more than 1000m and the fjord is 42km long...
And btw, the waterfall is one of the highest in the whole world 😲

If you could do any job in the world, what would it be?
For me, it would be an astronaut.
As a little boy, I always dreamed of what it would be like being strapped into the shuttle hurtling away from the pull of Earth's gravity at 18,000 miles per hour. I could only imagine that feeling and the intense rush of adrenaline!
The countdown from Mission Control: "10, 9, 8...". On the launchpad, engines are quaking, heart-pounding "3, 2, 1, liftoff" taking me to a place few have ever seen.
150 seconds later, I'm floating and staring back down at planet Earth.
I have come to terms that I will never be this fortunate nor lucky to see Earth from orbit. At this point in my life, I would settle for America getting it's shuttle program back up and running and getting to witness one taking off in person.
Now though, my dream has changed. I am a proud father of a two-year-old girl and hope one day she is as fascinated with space as I am. There is such a tremendous number amazing women in science and space exploration like @astronautabbyofficial@astro_christina@zenanaut@astrojaws@astro_jenni@astro_kayla that I hope she grows up to admire them as much as I do.
It is hard for me to comprehend what space exploration will be like when my daughter is my age. Almost 50 years ago, Neil Armstrong pulled out his 70mm Hasselblad camera and snapped a picture of Buzz Aldrin planting the American flag in the Sea of Tranquility.
While the flag has undoubtedly been bleached white from the harsh rays of our sun, the first time I saw that image is something that will stick with me forever.
Hopefully, whatever political issues we have as a world will be put aside, and we will all come together to try and expand our reach into the solar system. With any luck, my daughter will be at the forefront of that journey.
Every night when I tuck her in, I tell her she has the capability and strength to be whatever she wants. I just hope it is an astronaut. 😁 🌎🚀
This amazing hike never gets old. I have hiked Half Dome in #Yosemite several times and it seems to get better every time. Met great people while hiking which is one of the best parts of going up mountains. A grueling 17 miles, Half Dome brings a special feeling to everyone who has achieved peaking it.
"Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime." 🌆🐟 Don't get comfortable, always be willing to explore and expand your horizons; gaining as much experience as you can can only benefit you 😄
I was recently interviewed and asked what might be the “greatest story behind an image” of mine. Well, getting knocked down and out by lightning just two minutes before taking this single hand held shot (not a composite) of lightning, mammatus clouds, a rainbow, nuclear color and dreamy atmospheric conditions is certainly one of them! Thank God friend Kevin McNeal caught this on video and posted it to my YouTube page or no one would believe it is a real photo!
