  • Good Morning ☀️!!!! Happy Monday!!!! It’s the start to a new week let’s make it awesome!!! Guess what?!? Another restless night....this time it’s because my husband was snoring and I can’t sleep when he snores he rarely snores but this poor man works day and night he was exhausted so my sleep was compromised 😞!! Gonna be a long tough day ahead of me lots of COFFEE today for sure!!!! After a long hard decision I have decided to move up to my true maintenance yet again with 80DO which means I eat more 2100 calories is making me insane to think about eating this amount in a day to see changes but truth is I have been stuck in a very long plateau and I owe it to myself to see if this will work...could my body really need this much fuel?!?? I dunno last time I tried I freaked out and went back to the lower plan but I must must must stick it out for at least 2 to 3 weeks!! This program is tough the body needs this fuel and if your active all day long like I am the body will burn it off...I have a mental block where I think less is better but I been told time and time again to TRUST so here I go again!!! It sucked when my alarm went off at 5am no joke but I gotta get this done!!! Had my preworkout FUEL and now it’s time for LIQUID GOLD before I enter the ZOO!!!! I been challenged by 2 of my Beachbody BADASS girls to add on 3 more rounds today...3 more rounds is torture you have no idea but you see me and challenges well I like to challenge and push myself so hell yes I’m accepting the challenge 💪!!!   • When I first started this journey, I had a guy friend tell me my muscles were becoming manly and gross and it was defeating. No girl (or anyone) for that matter wants to feel “ gross.” So I actually stopped lifting. I’d focus on cardio and other areas of my body. It took me years to get over that 1 comment. Not that I need to be beautiful to EVERYONE, but it’s hard not to dwell on the bad even if the good outweighs it. Am I right? Well here I am now. I’m on my second round of my lifting/ HIIT program and I feel like I’ve gotten more muscular than ever. And you know what? I feel CONFIDENT, which in turn makes me feel SEXY. Don’t be afraid to lift. Don’t be afraid to do anything bc if someone’s critique of you. You are beautiful, muscles and all.   • We did it!! - About 20 ladies and I finished an 8week program and I’m so excited for the results! First of all, this is a 4 day a week program (you may be familiar)that seemed to work so well in each of their schedules. The built in flexibility allowed for a little “life” to happen each week with no guilt! If we missed a day, we just completed the workout on a different day and kept going. - So many of the Ladies said the flexibility is what kept them from falling off the program, beating themselves up if they missed a day or even worse, quitting all together. We have weight loss, muscle gains, consistency (some for the 1st time completing a full program) and flexibility! - We loved it so much, we are doing it again and inviting YOU! Man was I dragging this morning but I know this time is important to me so I make every effort to push myself as tired as I am it’s my time to work on me!!! It was a short school week but at least I got myself and my kids in that early schedule mode!! I’m counting down the days to October 8 when A LITTLE MORE OBSESSED is released I’m so so so excited 🤗 for this release to add onto my 80DO schedule! This phase is flying by I’m nearing the end of week 2 Phase 2 and my obsession is REAL this program for me has been life changing and I can’t get enough of it! It’s a school day so this mama has to be on her game plan no need to slack no excuses it’s time to get it 💪!!! Woke up early enough to cook up a good Preworkout and now it’s time to get this Preworkout LIQUID GOLD down for LEG DAY 🤗!!! Mornings are chaos as you all know getting lunches ready, snack packing up the kids stuff making sure they have enough cold water on these hot humid days, breakfast time blah blah blah it’s madness but I am able to handle it so much better when I take care of ME first!!! Getting adjusted to the early grind since I slacked because of my busy week this week I decided to make today an early morning day....yesterday was BRUTAL in every way no energy the exhaustion was REAL and it was terrible...I did my daily mom chores and sat to rest a lot which is very unusual for me but my body was really feeling it and in order to continue to get adjusted I know I gotta keep up the early grind!!! Well well well we got some news for us Beachbody people that Autum may have a surprise coming to us and it’s very possible that it’s 80DO related and I’ve been jumping for joy since yesterday with EXCITEMENT 🤗 like you have no idea....I wish they could let the cat out of the bag but I’m sure we will know soon enough maybe this coming week....I CANT WAIT!!!! It’s also Saturday which means the zoo visit that dreaded workout I loath is upon me 😬 it’s time to get ready for it because I don’t run from HARD I embrace it and maybe cry a little 😔!   • Thankful today is a rest day because yesterday's workout almost made me puke!! I pushed myself so hard in those 39 minutes of work and I am FEELING every ounce of it this morning. 😩 . Week 7 is halfway done and then I only have one more week to go!! I will TOTALLY do this program again though. I'm getting stronger, gaining muscle, feeling balanced with having only a 4 day a week workout commitment plus I'm losing fat in the process!!! Win win if you ask me!! 🙌🏻 . This week flew by I dunno about you all but it seemed to fly by and that’s gonna happen as school approaches us here the days are flying by so fast!!!!! I made it a full week with early morning workout whoop whoop and been getting up a few min earlier every day...next week I’ll set my alarm a bit earlier as I start to prepare for those 4am mornings that’s gonna be brutal but I gotta adjust to that schedule...it’s not gonna be easy by any means but it’s how I set the time for my workouts and ME so it’s gotta get done!!! Well I’m ending PHASE 1 today with LEG DAY although I have the dreaded Workout Saturday that remains the same in each phase...I’m excited to put this workout to rest and begin my next phase...I’m ready to ramp it up a notch and work harder in phase 2!!! Morning are HARD nothing more to say they come too fast and when that alarm went off I wanted so bad to hit snooze or shut it off all together but I didn’t....the time I set for myself is the best time of my day! So if that means getting up early so be it because this is MY TIME...as moms we never ever have time for us ever we are always so busy with the house work and kids that we neglect ourselves...that was the OLD me nope not anymore....I know now that this time spent on me is truly the best time of my day! Virtual high five ✋ for all those mamas taking the time for them to better their lives and feel good because that feeling is soooooo WORTH IT! You can’t put a price on your health....the best investment is to invest in yourself that’s MY PROMISE!! I do 20 x 3 reprs each time. ➕➕ I work out the abs and glutes everyday since it's kind of the women's weakness and because I'm working from home sitting at the computer. I work out the arms, back and shoulders on the very same program. I just have some different exercises depending on the days. I use some yoga stretching as well during my workouts. I think the resistance bands are really efficient for the lower body and for the upper body I use dumbbells ➕➕ Working out everyday for 30mn is not only a necessity to get in shapes but also a need to stay in a good spirit.   • It's WEEK 5 of this program and the trainer challenged us to up our weights. He thought we would be stronger and able to do so and he was right!!! 🙌🏻 . So proud of myself for what I accomplished yesterday!! I increased my weights in almost every move and was even using my husband's 25 pound free weights for chest presses. 💪🏻 . Beyond excited that I made it through all 3 rounds without decreasing the weight and that I was able to do it all with good form--even when it got HEAVY. . SUPER sore today but it's totally worth it!! Love how much stronger I'm getting with only putting in 4 days a week of work. ❤️

Dis-ease is a message from our bodies, telling us that, in some way, we are NOT listening to the signals/cues our body gives us about food, rest, exercise, and the nurturing it needs. . . If we don’t pay attention to the cues and make the appropriate changes, our bodies will give us stronger signals, including aches, pains, and minor illnesses. If we still refuse to listen, a chronic illness or accident may eventually occur. The stronger messages can often be avoided by paying attention to the subtler ones. . .
