We survived another interval session and I don't know how, but I am okay with that 🤔😄 • 3,5K Warm-up; 4x1 min submax. mit einer Minute Pause + 2x2K mit je einem Kilometer Trabpause; 4,5K Cool-Down ⚡️• Macht ca 15,5 Km ... danach ging es noch locker ausradeln und ich glaube das hat echt geholfen 🤗 Deshalb geht's jetzt gleich noch mal los 🚴🏻♀️💖 Was steht/stand bei euch an? • #happyrunner#laufliebe#loverunning#darumlaufenwir#love2run

A perfect rooftop yoga class this morning that I ran to in my @on_running’s. I’ve been running in them more lately and really like them. But I also still have @saucony Kinvaras and @nike Pegasus in my rotation. I’m a big fan of rotating different brands. I think it’s better on my body and helps the shoes last longer. But I do kind of feel like trying something new. So, I’m crowdsourcing: what are your favorite pair of neutral running shoes right now? 👇🏼 Curious. 📸: @arossstories#running#on#onrunning#runningshoes#marathontraining#yogamorning
Where do I start. Last weeks European champs left me with every emotion available. However I wore a GB vest again at a championships in spikes! That wasn’t meant to happen ever again post op. This is where my stubbornness has a use and my legend of a support crew around me to believe in my ability to still perform and create paths never trod on before. Two V35 British Records 13.25/ 27.52. This summer has done more than I expected/needed. The journey continues............ cos I’m not done. Thanks, @prairiefirecheerleading for lending me Todd for a day. He shattered his PB for most distance in a trail run and getting to grey owls cabin.
Hit the road at 5 am, started at 8:05 and finished at 3:20. So 7:15 for 40k(+ the tiny tiny bit extra from when I thought we missed a turn)
We had a bite to eat and got home around 7. All-in-all relaxed and comfortable day. We talked sports, politics, family and enjoyed the day, 14 hours of none stop chatting.
A perfectly relaxing day, was so nice to just move and listen and share and choose to enjoy my day with company who was doing the same.
Thanks, @tarajna and Cristina for letting us go do something stupid.
My plan was between 5.5-7 hours plus breaks, we did it in about 6:45 + breaks. So I figure I was close to my worst case scenario. The wives tell me they had much much worse case scenarios in their minds.
I figure since I didn't need the bear spray, first aid kit or rain jacket, I could ditch those next time, cut my pack weight from 8 to 4 lbs and if I rethink how we attacked the hills we could do it around 5 hours.
But now to get ready for the #qcmhalfmarathon. But I feel better able to jog and chat now.
1/4 mile closer to that 100 mile goal.
