Alright guys, wish me luck on the sensor cleaning I’m going to do tonight on my camera. I’m investing in Sony’s full-frame A-series come winter but until then let’s cross our fingers for my 6D that I can keep it as a back up in the coming months and not have to trash it. 😅
A little #tbt to this past weekend on Vancouver Island ... I have been wanting to visit this place for quite some time now, and it did not disappoint!
Had the most amazing day with @lmsmith6 ! It started off with lunch and a road trip; followed by a short, but beautiful, 2km hike through the coastal rain forest. As we got closer to the end, we could see the ocean peeking through the trees, and our excitement for what was ahead began to build!
We made it to the beach and it was hard to believe that somewhere so amazing could be found in real life... We took off our shoes and put our feet in the water. We walked along the beach towards the waterfall and back... savouring the smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves, and the warmth of the sun. We found ourselves a spot to sit and enjoy the view and a little afternoon treat. Little did we know, we were about to be given a show. I happened to look up and see what I thought was too big to be a dolphin, so it must have been a whale.... it came and went so fast that maybe my eyes had been playing tricks on me. Moments later, maybe about 500m from the shore, we spot the rest of the pod! At least 6 orcas were making their way along the coast. We sat and watched until we couldn’t see them anymore. While a part of me wishes that we had caught something on camera, I am so glad we decided to just be present in the moment. This will make its way up the list of magical moments that I will never forget!

We were driving around Arches National Park on 9/29/2018 to find a good spot to watch the sunset 🌅. I noticed this guy climbing 🧗♂️ this massive glowing rock, so we decided to stop and watch. When he reached the top, the guy got on one knee and proposed to his girl! How magical was this setting! Right after she said “YES”, they shared an embrace. They stayed on top of that rock and watched the sunset 🌅. I just kept thinking, “wow”, this guy did it right, what a perfect setting! I’m sure that they will never forget this moment, but neither will I. We were able to witness their very special event. I hope that somehow, these pictures will find it’s way to them.
Researchers have found that endocannabinoid system dysregulation and endocannabinoid deficiency are present in several chronic medical conditions.
These problems often contribute to the symptoms we feel. 🙍
They also contribute to the progression of disease processes. That's why CBD or CBN oil is a vital part of healthy, healing living! 🌱

We went to the woods this morning. It’s getting pretty chilly out there as the sun rises, but it means we often have the woods to ourselves. How lucky to be us 🐾 🙃 #hikeyourdog#dogsinthewoods#fallvibes

Who’s up for a night hike? 🤗 It was my first time starting a hike in a complete dark and I just LOVED it (the wake up call at 3.30a.m a bit less haha)
If you want to do this hike don’t go by yourself. This forest is known for having snakes, monkeys (LOTS of mosquitoes also 😅) and some parts are very steeps and sharps. First time I’ve done a hike with a guide and I’ve been lucky to have the best one. If you ever need someone to hike the Taraw Mount you can contact her @elvie.abelarde (This is not sponsored. I’m just trying to help an amazing strong woman, mom of 4 child :)

Our hike up Ice house canyon to Rancho peak.
I love this place and can't wait to hit up all the peaks from the saddle.
Through struggle we grow. Doing it with others forms a bond that is always remembered and cherished.
See you again soon baldy.
