Is anyone else here awful at eating actual meals throughout the day? For example, yesterday I ate like 400 pieces of Homemade Garlic Naan, and nothing else. But 400 pieces of garlic naan will sure fill ya up. (Okay, it wasn't 400, but it was A LOT.) I just can't help myself when I really love a recipe. And garlicky, buttery, chewy naan is definitely a favorite of mine.

Intrigued by the name, I just had to shake this one up. I came across this recipe in @mollywellman’s “Handcrafted Cocktails: The Mixologist's Guide to Classic Drinks for Morning, Noon & Night”. hi, i’m alive. things have been a tiny bit busy for us as we are getting our house ready to be listed for sale, but today i took the time to make this 💣 meal 100% from scratch because if i’m going to stress eat, it might as well be delicious. i don’t know how i made it this far in life without making ricotta at home, but thank god today was the day to right that wrong. it’s SO easy, and it’s the tastiest, especially when it’s in a garlicky, basil-y tomato reduction with freshly baked bread that’s been crisped up in a pan with some olive oil. it’s okay to be jealous—i would be if i were you 🤤. also, if you’re looking to buy a house in ormewood, holler atcha girl.

One of my favorite pastas of all time is Gnocchi but again, not the healthiest. I found a substitute that taste exactly like it but healthier! Put the sauce on top of Trader Joe’s cauliflower gnocchi ✨Cucumber Salad:
2 tbsp of red wine vinegar
Tastyyyy budddha bowl for dinna thanks to @piadaitalianstreetfood // quinoa topped with roasted chickpea, sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower, some pickled onion and a green goddess dressing (let me tell you the dressing was surely godly:))
Nobody wants to be in the kitchen cooking up a storm during this heatwave which is why I am enjoying the quicker and lighter meals at this time. If you are too, why not try making these tasty vegan buffalo cauliflower tacos? 🌮 .
You’ll need: 6 tortillas, 1 small head cauliflower cut into small florets, ½ cup flour, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder, ⅓ cup vegan buffalo sauce, 2 cups shredded purple cabbage, 1 cup frozen edamame thawed, 1 cup frozen corn thawed, 1 avocado sliced. .
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. .
Step 2: Rinse the cauliflower and drain well. Leaving it wet, set aside. .
Step 3: Combine the flour, garlic and onion powder in a large bowl and mix well. Add the cauliflower florets and toss well to ensure they’re well coated. Transfer them to a colander to get rid of any flour and return them to the bowl. .
Step 4: Add the buffalo sauce and toss well so the cauliflower florets are well coated on all sides. Transfer the baking sheet, coat with cooking spray and bake for 20-30 mins until tender. .
Step 5: Fill each tortilla with shredded cabbage, edamame and corn. Top with cauliflower and avocado. Enjoy! .
Who else is in denial that it's already mid August and fall is just around the corner..? 😱 We plan on milking summer as long as we can, and taking advantage of all the summer fruits in season, especially cherries! BRB recreating @fraichenutrition's cherry scones! 🍒

Rigatoni with Broccoli and Chicken Sausage. #5wwpoints
Seriously easy, seriously satisfying 🌱 break up some broccoli and turn on the heat, pour some olive oil in the pan and stir it with the broccoli, brown a pound of ground beef, dump literally as much fresh spinach that will fit in your pan (so you actually see some after it cooks... #amiright?), then dump half a jar of your favorite alfredo, and stir 🌱 it’s delicious.
My pumpkin bread brings all the basic bitches to the yard, and their like “it’s better than yours, damn right it’s better than yours I could teach you...”
Ok but really I’m gonna teach you, so write this down my pumpkin lovin’ people.
“Healthier” Pumpkin Bread 🎃
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white, unbleached all purpose flour
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 15-oz can pumpkin purée (not pie filling)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (or sugar in the raw)
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup plain, non fat Greek yogurt
2.5 Tbsp grass fed butter melted
Preheat your oven to 350°, with the rack in the center. Line a 9 x 13“ loaf pan with parchment paper, or spray with nonstick spray (I use the coconut oil spray).
In one bowl combine white and whole wheat flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, salt, and baking powder and mix together with a fork.
In a second bowl combine the remaining ingredients creating your wet mixture.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and fold with a spatula until combined, pour the mixture into your loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes.
Pro Tip : When I make this recipe I double or triple it make more than one loaf, then after their baked I wrap the extra loaves in saran wrap and then in foil and freeze them.
Enjoy, and share it with someone who is pumpkin crazy ❤️
This quick and easy chicken cabbage stir-fry is a great weeknight meal. It’s healthy, nutritious, gluten-free and paleo! 👌🏼 #Recipe below *
1 tablespoon coconut oil (plus a little extra added later)
400 g / 0.8 lb chicken breast or thigh meat, sliced into thin strips (bite-size)
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper (black is fine too, but white is more Asian in flavour)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
3 cups sliced Napa cabbage (1/2 medium cabbage)
250 g / 0.5 broccolini or broccoli florets (about 10-12 broccolini stems)
1 large carrot, sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely diced
1 teaspoon fish sauce
3½ tablespoons coconut aminos (or 3 tablespoons Tamari sauce)
Juice of ½ lime (or 2 tablespoons, lemon juice can also be used)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1. Heat a tablespoon of coconut oil in a large frying pan or a wok over high heat. Once hot, add the chicken meat and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes each side, then remove to a bowl with all the juices.
2. Place the pan back over high heat and add another teaspoon of coconut oil. Add the ginger, cabbage, broccolini and carrot and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Add a splash of water (about 2 tablespoons), garlic, fish sauce, coconut aminos sauce, lime juice and return the chicken meat to the pan. Mix through. Cook altogether for 2 more minutes, stirring frequently. Finally, drizzle with a little sesame oil and stir through. Serve while hot!
