  • Post MONDAY Reformer @formpilatesandbarre ✨If someone told me a few years ago you would be woken up by a kick in the face at 4.30am in the morning and still be keen to get up for a Pilates class at 5.30 I never would’ve believed them. I don’t have to do my classes early, but I choose to, it gives me energy to tackle the day... tackle Harry’s high energy needs 🙈🕺🏼 Exercise has always been big for me, it’s always helped with my mental health, suffering with anxiety all my life, so continuing to do so while pregnant was so important to me! I suffered last pregnancy because I didn’t keep up with it how I wanted and I promised myself I wouldn’t let that happen again, and I can’t believe the difference within myself. I am so lucky to have such an amazing team @formpilatesandbarre that keep me motivated for the early mornings, put up with my 100 questions per class and their patience when accomodating to my pregnancy needs! 🤰🏼you girls are the bomb! Of course it’s important to listen to your body and rest while your pregnant but it’s just as important to keep moving! 🖤🖤🖤🤸🏼‍♀️ ps just realised my eyes are shut in this pic 😌🤣🤣

  • 🔥LEG DAY🔥 My 2 favorite #Reformer leg exercises: Front and Back Russian Splits. . Not only will they improve your splits, but they also work *every* single part of both your legs, from hips to toes. . Working leg goes from 90 to straight ➡ try to control the return of the carriage so your knee doesn't go too forward of your toes. Hip in line with knee and toes. . Standing leg continuously pushes either the footbar or the shoulder block to keep the hips low and stable ➡ keep it straight and engaged, turned out, weight on the heel. . Avoid hiking the hip ➡ try to keep your body still and your pelvis square while you bend and straighten. . If you're too flexible avoid letting the carriage open all the way and lowering your body ➡the point is to stretch, strengthen, and control, full splits are a different exercise 😉 . Also challenges your balance so hold on to a tall pole on the floor maybe when first learning these. Or your #PilatesInstructor ☺ That's what we're there for 🤗 💛

  • {follow} the feels.... to find the MAGIC 💫 I’ve been so fortunate to get back to regular Meditation practice this past month... heading to classes to soak up as much goodness as I can!! A divine Sound Healing Monday evenings & Deep Peace/Kirtan Wednesdays....both such different practices but so fulfilling & soul nurturing! Last week my teacher reinforced ever so gently a beautiful message... that as spiritual beings we need to feel {love} & connect to our heart... as nothing we ‘accumulate’ in materialistic form can do this (& how many people do you know buy buy buy & are constantly chasing the next ‘thing’ but after 5mins it means nothing??). Love has a power that breaks everything we think is real to show us what is truly real... . {the} realness of possibilities, the realness of the unknown.... . {a} love without condition...without expectation. . {you’ll} know this love when it finds you...because you won’t have a choice. . {a} feeling will pull you towards someone or in a life direction your mind never saw coming... . {the} beautiful thing is...that if you move with this feeling in each moment... regardless of what is or isn’t happening...you’ll feel fulfilled...open & fearless as you stay connected to the endless possibilities this feeling knows.... . {do} this enough in life & you’ll come to believe that what you know in your heart is all that is truly real..... . {especially} when that special someone walks into your life {YES}!!!!!!....someone you never imagined being with but immediately feel a connection with like no other.... . {this} is the power of love...& that little bit of magic.... let it blow your mind 🙌🏻 Namaste Beautiful!!!!
