Минусы в беге с навиком 1. лишний большой гаджет с собой 2. темп и прочее по км приходится смотреть на компе, на самом навике только сводная инфа за всю пробежку

  • Thanks to spontaneity and my asshole of a running coach (me), pushed me when I said to myself “no one likes running in the rain, do 2 extra kilometres when approaching my initial halfway mark. Then said, go an extra 1/2 km for a Galway mark to make it a total of a 15k run. Then ignored how the dampness sunk into my injuries of years passed and made it a total of 16km. I’m feeling gooood these days. On my way to a possible PB?   • Wauw.. wat een gigantische maan vanavond!! Helaas lukte een foto niet zo goed. Ik deed een poging tot hardlopen, en in eens zag ik tussen de huizen door dat de man ongelooflijk mooi was, ik wist dat als ik een stuk verder liep ik over de weilanden heen waarschijnlijk mooi uitzicht had, en dat was zo. Maar ik wilde niet stoppen tijdens het rennen, en tijdens de interval waarin ik liep, liep ik langst een stuk waar een foto grandioos mislukte. Maar, hij staat op Mn netvlies ☺️ Lopen ging in tegenstelling tot veel andere dingen vandaag heel oké:) ik begon met 30 seconden hardlopen en zit nu op intervallen van 5 minuten. Het komt goed! Ik ben voor uitdagingen, dus hup, schoenen aan en vol goede moed voor de 5km trainen:) #hardlopen #running #runkeeper #fitbit #fitsagram #gezondeuitdaging #5kilometer #lijkwelgek

  • So many fall into this trap and yet it’s also possible to slowly turn things around Repost from @victoriastears using @RepostRegramApp - #TransformationTuesday - on the left my very first half marathon in September 2017 coming in at 1h55. That was the moment I finally felt like I belonged in the running community; I had found ‘my distance’ after years of struggling across 10K and I felt inspired and focused. I wanted more from myself and I knew the only way I’d be able to improve was if I started taking better care of myself. Fast forward nine months to the photo on the right in June 2018 where I had a spectacular performance at the Saxon Shore Half and came in comfortably at 1h39 and 3rd lady. My training hadn’t changed much, but my fuelling had increased dramatically and I had restored about 5lbs of weight by that point (as ever, a huge thank you to @r_mcgregor for rescuing me from the depths of self-destruction!)...this has been the single most important element of my improved performance. I know that I have the ability to run a fast half, and I get excited thinking about what I might achieve if I really give that goal some proper care and attention. But I also know how easily I fall into that downward spiral of missing a meal, and then another, and another - weight restoration and maintenance requires my constant attention as it’s impossible for me to eat intuitively; it requires a lot of effort and hard work, and it often feels exhausting. But it’s so worth it.
