  • Does anyone else’s hair look like this after a hard workout🤷🏻‍♀️😆 I told ya guys, I have no control over this hair of mine. It was a bit breezy out there, but geez...looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket. So, I had another big workout on the schedule for today. Im really enjoying my training lately! Coach says we will shift gears in a few weeks, but right now I’m loving the workouts & mileage. Here is what I did today: 3 miles up 2x800 1 x 4 miles @ threshold pace 4 x 400 3 miles down There were prescribed walking recoveries in between each set. This one felt really really good👌🏽 I hit all my paces and felt great afterwards. I ran this workout alone, but my run crew surprised me at the end & we ran the cool down together. Now I’m off to run some errands & get ready for a big night downtown. Kenny Chesney is in town & it’s time to party. Happy weekend, friends!! 🤠

Terima kasih atas dukungan yang luar biasa yang juga membawa semangat untuk para pelari lainnya. Kebahagian lainnya datang dari @imambokir @mirzamz yang pertama kali mengikuti Half Marathon, finish dengan official time (02:26:01) dan (03:06:16). Juga bangga untuk coach @werfansinaga yang berhasil lagi finish ke sub 4 dengan official time (03:58:39).

  • It’s TIME... TIME to leave the grizzly bear cavern and see the world again.. .. Over 3.5 weeks ago I hurt myself while running at Albert Park. Initial diagnostics lead to an inflammation of the ligaments. Feeling confident it would recover soon, I booked a few races for spring. But when the pain and swollen ankle did not disappear It was time for an X-ray (picture 2) 🤕 = A stress fracture, very pronounced on the fibula bone but at least I will not need surgery. Mind you that for 2 weeks without realising the bone was broken I was walking on the leg and even did 2 long sessions at the swimming pool (over 2 km in 1 h) 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦‍♂️.. .. But then it was time to face reality... a cast over the right leg for 4 weeks, meaning not only I can’t drive to work but Run Melbourne - 29 July - is out of question. Despite my hard work and the recent good achievements I would not make my PB for this half marathon. Sydney Marathon is also out of the window however I will drop the distance to the half and be there. 💆🏻‍♂️🙇‍♂️.. .. Therefore I took a break and turned off IG. Not the best idea I had, I give you this but sometimes it can help looking at things, yourself, people and other priority from a different angle. .. Now it’s time to come back alive and Enjoy IG, catching up with people for coffee even if I won’t run and be thankful for my family and friends who pushed me out of my cavern 🌋🐻.. My manly army style cast will be on until 13 August when fortunately the next set of X Ray will show a good and strong recovery. Then a moon boot for another 2 weeks. Keep you posted on this 😉.. .. I will be at Park run at Frog Hollow on Sat 4 August, taking pictures of my favorites runners and enjoying the social coffee afterwards and will give away free hugs too!! NO PUEDES IR A NINGÚN LADO HASTA QUE LA CAMBIES Y es que VIVIR ES UN VIAJE de SENTIDO ÚNICO, no es un viaje sencillo, a veces se nos hace bastante cuesta arriba debido a los acontecimientos en los que nos vemos involucrados y donde el precio de posponer aquellas cosas que quisiéramos hacer pero que por miedo o dejadez no hacemos, o las hacemos mal intencionadamente a veces es demasiado elevado, no siempre hay segundas oportunidades. A menudo nos encontramos a nosotros mismos lamentándonos y diciéndonos yo no voy a ser capaz, esto nos es para mí, soy un fracaso, ect, achacando todas estas falsas acusaciones a que no tenemos las aptitudes adecuadas. VIVIR NO ES una CUESTIÓN de APTITUD, en gran medida TUS ÉXITOS Y TUS FRACASOS, tus subidas y bajadas VIENEN determinadas POR TÚ ACTITUD. La forma en la que afrontamos algo que que nos ocurre determina el acontecimiento siguiente y el crecimiento personal, ya que uno puede tener unas aptitudes físicas o mentales extraordinarias pero una actitud negativa y derrotista le llevará irremediablemente al fracaso. Como bien explica Víctor kuppers el valor de una persona es igual a (C+H)*A, done la C son nuestros conocimientos, la H son nuestras habilidades, esas aptitudes que poseemos innatas o que hemos adquirido a través del esfuerzo y la dedicación y el aprendizaje y por último esta la ACTITUD, y está es LA PIEZA MAS IMPORTANTE de la ecuación ya que la "C" suma , la "H" suma pero la "A" multiplica, porque es TU ACTITUD la que te da más valor, la que marca la diferencia, la que hace que luches por aquello que quieres, la que hace que te levantes cuando caes y es la que te otorga valor como persona. Es..."   • This run happened yesterday, but life has been so busy and I’ve been so distracted with everything that this posted hasn’t happened until now. I’m happy I got this run in, regardless of my pace, because this last week I’ve been sick and unable to breathe really, at all. I struggled through this run, because I couldn’t quite breathe well enough and hills haven’t been on the schedule for quite some time. I ran from my house in Molalla, to my workplace in Beavercreek, and my wonderful friend Steph gave me a ride back to my house so I could shower and make it to my chiropractor appointment. I wore my @camelbak for the duration of my run and it was amazing. A part of me is contemplating wearing it race-day though, just because the weight of it is noticeable. Today I shadowed my friend/trainer @abreathyoga during one of her yoga sessions. It was wonderful being able to watch her worker her magic and learn from her. Chatting with her afterward over coffee was just as amazing. I love connecting with people through fitness, and Annie was one of my very first connections; I met her over 5 years ago and a lot of my love for running and fitness stems from her. She’s such an inspirational individual ♥️ My @runrevel marathon is one week away. I know I am slightly undertrained, but I’m excited regardless.   • 🏔 We made it - Heroes of the Mountains @mountainman.de 🏔 [Werbung/Markierung] Was für ein toller Tag gestern in den Chiemgauer Alpen - unser erster offizieller Wettkampf, den wir gemeinsam absolviert haben. 🐶💑♥️ 22 km wandern mit 890 hm - nach fast 6 Stunden waren wir im Ziel. Das Wetter hat zum Glück durchgehalten und bis auf ein paar wenige Regenschauer war‘s zum wandern und laufen einfach perfekt 💪🏼 Super Veranstaltung, wo sogar Hunde ausdrücklich erwünscht sind 💪🏼 Das hat man tatsächlich nicht oft - aber hier dürfen die Vierbeiner mitwandern und mitlaufen 🍀 @flokksberth hat dabei wohl definitiv eher zu den Kleinsten gehört, war aber deshalb nicht weniger gut drauf 🐶😎 Die 22km Tour, die man sowohl wandern als auch laufen kann, ist für Hunde super zu machen und ist auch eine gute Einstiegsstrecke für Trail-Rookies aufgrund der relativ wenigen Höhenmetern. Es gab zusätzlich noch die M- und L-Distanz, die dann natürlich noch trailiger und anspruchsvoller sind. Verpflegung war wir wie bei fast allen Trailevents einfach top! Mal abgesehen vom Kaiserschmarren, der ohne Rosinen und sonstigen SchnickSchnack einfach überragend geschmeckt hat, gab es noch vegetarische Buletten (das ist einfach auf einer Alm nicht selbstverständlich und bekommt deshalb noch einen extra Pluspunkt), Topfenstrudel, Kuchen und Obst. Das Ganze wurde dann natürlich noch von der Medaille am Ende getoppt!🏅 Wir hatten jede Menge Spaß und sind froh, dass wir eine neue Veranstaltung für uns „entdeckt“ haben, denn für 2019 ist der Mountainman an 5 weiteren Orten geplant 💪🏼 Wir sind auf jeden Fall gespannt, wo die Reise hingeht. Wer also nach einem familiären, gut organisierten und gemütlichen Event Ausschau hält, ist hier genau richtig. Nicht nur für Trailrunner, sondern auch für Wanderer und Hunde eine Klasse Geschichte 😎 Wir werden heute noch den Tag in der Region genießen, insofern der Regen endlich nachlässt... Типа - сейчас я выйду и дождь перестанет , - да нормальная погода ... как раз для пробежки ... свежо , прохладно , солнце не жарит .... А потом выходишь , и в голос - Бэээлииин! .... Но , назад дороги нет ! Первые капли дождя такие гадкие ... ведь я ещё сухая ( была) ... А тут ещё от порыва ветра, с веток деревьев в лицо холодная пощёчина... Спасибо! Как раз то что надо ! Начинаю бежать чтоб согреться ... Дождь усиливается .... Холодно ... Не ... не холодно , а мерзко .... Продолжаю бежать ... Вроде легче, но все так же не приятно ... бегу ... иии ооп ! как то вдруг хорошо становится ... не снаружи а внутри ... (снаружи все так же не очень... ) Не знаю как назвать чувство ... гордость не гордость .. скорее радость за себя ... преодолела ... победила своё "не могу" . А когда уже мокрая как мышь , все равно льёт дождь или нет ... . 21 км залетели , без воды и еды . Утром я бегаю на голодный желудок. . На фото я как машина ... смахиваю дворниками воду с лобового 😂
