12 miles 🎉 This included a 6 mile warm up 😂 (complete with 2 water breaks before mile 5) and then finally the legs woke up and got with the program! The remaining 6 miles felt great. 🙌🏼 Here we come Chicago!

➡️ Leute, ich tu' mich echt schwer mit laufen UND Legdays.... meistens läuft es im Fitti auf Functional oder Oberkörpertraining raus, weil ich sonst einfach nicht genug laufe oder vom vielen Laufen unfähig bin Legdays durchzuziehen.... Wie kombiniert ihr das ohne, dass das Laufen zu kurz kommt zB im Marathontraining? Danke für die Tipps 💓 Ist ein echter Teufelskreis da ich echt nicht weniger laufen will 🙈

➡️ Dear weightlifting runners out there.... How do you combine legdays with lots of running without doing less running? I mean my legs are often too weak or they hurt and then I can't push.... Or I push and then they punish me with no running for several days.... What about marathontraining? 💓 How is it possible? Thanks for sharing in case you know 🙏 it's a vicious circle 🙈 I don't want to run less.... .

Just a heads up to Brisbane runners - if you want to improve your running I’d highly recommend checking out @bodytrackep . I’ve almost completed a 10 week block of stability, strength and plyometric work targeted specifically at runners and the results have been amazing. I’m running stronger and faster than I have in a while. I’ll definitely be signing up for the next block which is planned for January.

Today was tough. The wind was blowing and the rain was squally and cold. And to be honest my heart really wasn’t in it at all. But I knew that I had the chance and would regret it if I didn’t get out. So I planned some run play - to hit MP on alternate kms, add in some hills to replicate the start of the Auckland marathon and to finish strong. Which I did 🙌🏼 and no regrets...
Missing this group! A throw back photo ! I did my workout solo again tonight, and I've realized that I seem to perform better when I workout alone. Its really hard mentally to get through it alone, but I feel a lot less pressure for some reason and I'm able to relax, and then I hit my paces! Do you guys prefer to do hard workouts solo or with a group? -
Tonight I did some 800ms and 300ms....800 meter reps ranged from 6:18-5:48 mile pace and 300 meter reps ranged from 5:45-5:10 mile pace ! Feeling strong and fast!!!
