• 🏃🏼♀️Longest ‘long run’ day for years! 80 mins broken up into 4 x run/walk segments for a total of 11km. Started to hurt toward the end, but luckily Spotify decided to up the beat with its ‘Hot Hits Australia’ playlist so that helped keep my cadence and spirits high 🙈😂😂! Do you Spotify while running?!! We’ve been building run time slowly and steadily for a few weeks now, had a little knee niggle ➿ which we sorted out quick smart with my physio, so kind of excited to see where the next two weeks take me leading into my next triathlon💃🏻!! •
Wake up and smell the inspiration... and learn to LOVE the GRIND! Hill repeats... 3 miles of them... with a 1 mile warmup and a 1 mile cool down...I was not smiling during the hills but dang... I am so happy I didn’t put them off until tonight... the thought did cross my mind when my alarm went off... and besides... I have an attitude of WHATEVER IT TAKES (also happens to be my favorite song by Imagine Dragons) ... so I’m impossible to stop! Week 5... SeaWheeze training!!! Who signed up for Marathon Weekend at Disneyworld.... I......DID.....NOT!!! Day 779 of non stop running for this ninja warrior!!! #runningwiththeCOOLKIDS#hillsareHARD
This life is a constant journey of growing and refining who we are.
Today, I woke up 2 states away from where I did last year. .
& in these last 365 days:
I’ve started a new job,
I’ve PRed in the half marathon,
I’ve traveled to new places with Quentin,
I’ve made new friends,
& I’ve had more ‘firsts’ than I can count.
So even though I’m proud of how much stronger I am, because I’ve spent A LOT of time in the gym & on the roads chasing my dreams & goals....
I think this life is all about stepping out of your comfort zone, GOING FOR IT, doing the damn thing, & becoming more and more of who you are meant to be.
Saying YES to more things. .
& doing more things that make you feel alive!

Hier soir, je me suis entraînée en fractionné en alternant rythme modéré et sprint.
Le programme dure 25 minutes mais j’ai craqué un peu avant.
Je suis tout de même contente d’avoir trouvé la motivation d’aller m’entraîner à 21h30.💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I played around in the mountains today, running uphill trails testing my physical and mental capabilities.
The aches came instantly once my legs stopped to drive me home. But man, I had such an amazing solo run playing in the mountains.
So, I’ve been using a revolutionary and award winning product for a few months now, and last year coming back from stress fractures in my right shoulder.
It’s given me the additional support I needed to recover from serious injury, and the ongoing support to continue training to become a better athlete - at 45 years old! Plus I’m starting to look younger 😁👌
