  • Doppet här efter löprundan var så skönt och så värt! Det tog att 🏃‍♂️i värmen idag och jag brände mina axlar, men jag älskar ändå att springa i denna värme. Delade upp sista delen i 10-min block, då kändes det mer överblickbart. Och skönt att checka delmål på vägen. 🏃‍♂️ Nu är jag hög på endorfiner och riktigt nöjd med träningen den här 1,5 veckan i Värmland. Löpning enligt programmet från Run Your World med marathon-legenden Szalkai @szacke42195 bakom rodret och långa promenader på vilodagarna. Har också gjort mer medvetna val gällande kosten. Vill vara i toppform till höstens lopp. 🏃‍♂️ Har massor av energi i depåerna och det känns mer än ok att jobba på måndag. Sen har jag ett par dagar till att se fram emot veckan efter. Ja, tillvaron känns väldigt bra just nu 😎✌️ 🇬🇧 The refreshment bath after the long run felt so good! It was tough running in the heat, as it always is. I burned my shoulders but I love running these hot summer days. I’m also satisfied with my workout this 1,5 week following an excellent training program by 🇸🇪 Marathon legend Anders Szalkai. And long walks on the rest days 😎✌️

  • Here’s the reality of everything in life.. if you go into it with a shitty mentality and mindset, no matter how amazing the experience may be or not, it’s gonna suck. My old mindset would have done this run as a means of “punishment” or “coping” for going off track with “diet” or missing a workout, etc... New mindset did this because I was up for a challenge and SOOOO grateful for a body that’s able to randomly run 8 miles. Take a minute today to check in with your mindset ✌🏼💕🧠

  • In order to fly I may need to slow down (?). . . . I recently bought a heart rate chest strap to pair with my watch and have confirmed that I run with an average heart rate in Zone 5. I’ve only just started reading about running and heart rate so I’m just learning about this. I’m running at what I perceive to be a comfortable pace (9-9:30min/mile), and I’m not sure if the determined zones on my watch are correct for me, but knowing my heart rate is constantly high bothers me because I know it’s not good for me. . . . I could lose 10+ lbs and that would probably help. I should also spend time strength training. I don’t really want to run slower but maybe I could take walk breaks. I guess I’ll be trying to figure this out, including taking my resting heart rate in the morning. Anyone have any heart rate training advice? . . .
