Day 183 🏃🏻♀️TAILWIND REVIEW 🏃🏻♀️
The short verdict, it’s a massive two thumbs up from me 👍🏻 if you want to know why read on for the long answer. And no @tailwindnutritionuk did not send me these as freebies nor have I had any other incentive to post this 😉 It’s just my honest opinion in the quest for running fuel that doesn’t make me ill👌🏻so here goes ...
Today I tried the tailwind raspberry buzz 😀 as I do when I’m trying any new running fuel I don’t eat anything before heading out. This way I know the exact effects of the product. So I set off running, my legs were dead. First mile was 9:06min/mi 🙈 I started sipping the tailwind. Just a little each mile, and f**k me this stuff is like rocket fuel 😂 by mile 6 I was flying, the caffeine and calories had definitely kicked in and without feeling like I was trying I was hitting sub 8 minute miles on a hilly route 👍🏻 and the best part of it all no stomach cramps, no indigestion, no sickly sweet taste, no feeling like I was running on empty and no feeling overly full. I usually struggle with finding the balance between consuming enough calories while running but not having too many gels as they really upset my digestive system. But I think I’ve just found my answer 🙌🏻 I also struggle to eat after running so along with the during exercise powders I also purchased some of the recover shakes. Today I tried the chocolate flavour and that too gets my approval 🤗 tastes great and again didn’t make me feel sick, bloated or weighted down 👍🏻 so if like me and suffer with IBS type symptoms I’d definitely recommend giving tailwind a try. Oh and it’s also all vegan 🌱 which just makes it even better 💚
