I’m going to have @janprithv running again but the mechanics are pretty savage. These specific mechanics pertain to the foot that’s currently in front when accelerating forward. 💪
1st is primary contact aka heel or foot strike. This is when she’ll be creating force
2nd there’s a loading response at the ankle, knee and hip
3rd there’s mid stance
4th these peak loading( I prefer to separate this)
5th is the propulsive phase aka triple extension and this is where she’ll absorb the force properly to give that gliding look
6th there’s a swing phase
7th there’s a late swing phase then the other foot should repeat the cycle.

Warmer sunnier days are a good reminder as well to make sure we're on top of our water intake regardless of whether you're working towards any specific health or fitness goals!
A good easy to remember goal is 1L of water per 25kgs!
If plain water isn't your thing - try adding some fresh mint or lemon juice, even orange peel or some berries are great flavour enhancers with added nutrition benefits, and also make mineral water a bit more exciting 👌
Try to obviously avoid fizzy soft drinks and "sports" that are all loaded with sugar - and NO diet drinks are not a better alternative!!
Avoid too many coffees and teas which can dehydrate you too...
If you want an alternative, our fat burning Herbie tea is great too - half the caffeine but with many more benefits and it counts as your water intake, cranks your metabolism and will help boost mental clarity and focus too!!

Today was my first day volunteering with @girlsinc
of the Pacific Northwest and I walked away with my cup feeling so full. What an amazing gift it is to be around other young girls and that I get the privilege to help them realize their true worth, their Potiental that is inside them, and to teach them to dream big. Every Monday I get this privilege to grow a stronger bond with these young ladies and get to know them and help them grow. Today was incredible volunteering and I look forward to the next Monday.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Today contributed funds and joined @stjude in the St Jude walk/run to End Childhood Cancer with my dear friends @simplyenaa & @hillarychristina_ .
