STORY BRIDGE ||
This heritage listed bridge crossing the Brisbane River was opened back in 1940, connecting the Northern and Southern suburbs of Brisbane. The Story Bridge was designed by John Bradfield who also designed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and just like it’s sister bridge it’s one of Brisbane’s most recognisable landmarks.
Fun Fact: It’s the only bridge in the world that you can climb up and abseil down.
I spent the weekend in Brisbane and it was great fun for a change. Buzzing city was inspiring and interesting but I’m already dreaming about beach walks and the sound of waves. Isn’t it funny how quickly you get used to new norms — I haven’t stayed on the coast for that long. 🌊
We spent the weekend camped in the Condamine Gorge. This was the beautiful scenery just on the drive out there. We can’t wait to sort through and show you more of what this incredible piece of south east Queensland had to offer.
Just another sick sunset from Fitzroy Island 🌴 also this is my 300th post

That grin you get when you hit the tip of Australia after weeks of wild offroad tracks. What a trip!

Ah-Maizing Corn Storage: 🌽 Properly stored, raw corn on the cob will usually keep well for about 1 to 3 days in the refrigerator. How long does corn on the cob last in the fridge once it has been cooked? Cooked corn on the cob will usually stay good for 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator and 10 to 12 months in the freezer.
Arrived on the Gold Coast today! This was the view from our room at sunset. We are 14 floors up and the views are amazing! As I post this we have the balcony door open and are listening to the waves crashing on the shore. Wonderful!
When people ask me what do vegans eat and assume it's a shitty garden salad or bowl of veggies I show them this 😍 Triple cheezeburger patties, double bacon, triple cheeze and lots of sauce and fillings from @familiar.takeaway 💦💦 Best burger I've ever had! #veganlife

Some homes need a fix up. Unfortunately, sometimes it’s a nasty surprise like a rotted stump being the tip of the iceberg!⠀
Having people you can trust to give you advice on repairs then becomes a crucial part of your decision to go forward with the purchase or not. If you’d like an introduction, shoot me a message!

It's that time of year again. I wonder what's waiting in store. I'd really love it if I had an actual idea on what comes next but I guess it's all apart of the journey. The thing I look forward to the most this season is the crisp bitter winter breeze waining on the back my neck. I want to tell you stories about the changes in my life but I know deep down everything's different and you wouldn't understand who I've become.
I want to start creating more, something inspiring that influences at least one person. If I can do that it'll make me happy and that's all I need.
