But I got to finish off my strongest week in a very long time with friends (@watchmaegtriandrun @babfitrunlife @kp_runspgh), which gave me all the feels 🥰 (obsessed with that emoji btw lol) —————————————————————- I don’t share my weekly mileage often because everyone’s training, journeys, etc are so different. But today I finished a 32 mile week. It’s the farthest I’ve ran since I had to stop marathon training in July. It’s taken what feels like forever to be where I am now, and I couldn’t be more grateful. (I say that a lot because I really am). Right now the goal is to continue to rebuild my endurance and do some speed stuff before training begins 🤗 I hope you all have a great Sunday, and CONGRATS to everyone who raced this weekend!!

  • El sábado tenía marcado en mi plan 12k tranquilines, pero en el km 5, se me empezó a cargar la rodilla y decidí parar 🚫 antes de que comenzaran los pinchazos como en la @behobia_ss ... no veía necesario llegar hasta ese punto porque era un simple entrenamiento 😕 Llamadme cobarde pero conmigo no va la famosa frase “el sufrimiento es temporal, la gloria es para siempre” que tan de moda está ahora 🙄 . Conozco mis límites y tengo claro que no es necesario forzar ahora mismo, que no tengo objetivos de larga distancia a la vista 😒 . ¿Qué pensáis? 🤔

  • Today’s agenda included a walk to get the legs moving after yesterday’s race. Luckily there’s no shortage of good walks in Flag. . . . The Pass Mountain 50k went way better than my previous (and first) ultra. I hung on until mile 26 where I hit a wall and dropped a few places back, finishing 13th in what ended up being a pretty fast field. . . . Now to take it easy, and start thinking about what’s next!

  • « Une pomme par jour permet de tenir le médecin à distance… . … pourvu que l’on vise bien » précisait  Winston Churchill. . 🍎🍏On vous en dit plus sur ce fruit de saison avec 5 bonnes raisons d’en manger régulièrement quand on fait de la course à pied : . 1️⃣ C’est un bon coupe-faim (riche en fibres) qui permet de réduire la tentation du grignotage . 2️⃣ Elle est peu calorique . 3️⃣ Elle est riche en eau . 4️⃣ Elle contient une large diversité de vitamines (en faible quantité cependant) . 5️⃣ On trouve facilement des pommes en local : la planète vous remercie 😉 . 👍Conseils : Compte-tenu de sa richesse en fibres, il est préférable de la consommer en compote si c’est la veille ou le jour J de la course. . On la privilégie bio bien entendu (la pommes est un des fruits qui reçoit le plus de traitements par an…), ce qui permet de manger la peau qui contient nettement plus d’antioxydants (vitamine C notamment) que la chair. .   • ✅Objetivo cumplido✅ 🔻 Buenos días a todooooos🙋🏻‍♂️ 🔻 Como ya sabreís es pasado sabado tocaba mambo,por lo que tanto había luchado y entrenado durante el año.📅Allí que nos plantamos,a las 7:30 daban la salida,y ya lloviendo,día cerrado a más no poder,pero palante,era el día y había que apretar los dientes y seguir!! 🔻 Disfruté como un enano de los 44,9km que marcó mi reloj,con +3700 durante 9h58min,barro,charcos,cruzando barrancos,ríos....algo inusual en esta zona,pero a la vez haciendo más especial si cabía el día!! 🔻 Como todo no podía ser de color de rosa,hubo un bajón en en km 31,que duró hasta el km 36,allí empezé a agobiarme de calor,dolo de cabeza,y como había perdido las bolsa con las sales me rallé....total que en km 36 me saco mi ibuprofeno y un buen hombre me lo prepara en el avituallamiento,como y a acabar lo que quedaba,que no era poco🤨😬😂 🔻 Así que solo queda dar las gracias a la organización,voluntarios,compañeros y amigos por hacer posible @maratodelsdements ,nos vemos en 2019 porque es una carrera referencia para todos💪🏼💪🏼 🔻 📷Cortesía de la gran @eli_rioo que allí estaba por el km 27 para dar animos y que bueno fué,porque te da un subidón encontrarte a amigos durante el recorrido bestial 🔻 #picoftheday #instamoment #trailrunner

And one of the easiest ways of getting the benefits of the nutrients is to drink it in your morning coffee or smoothie. Basically, put it in a cup and add hot water, stir and drink. 🍃🍵 . . This, and 1 litre of water to start up my body to function correctly is my morning routine. It basically goes like this. Wake up, morning bathroom, 5 min cold shower, 20 min meditation, shroom coffee and 1 litre of water. Tea! Then I'm off to work. 👊😎 . . What's your morning routine?

  • 19 races in 10 months and I'm done for 2018! So much love for all the people who have supported me this year. I have super big goals for 2019 so will be taking two months off racing to continue to build towards those. Now that I have plenty of racing experience next year will look very different with more tapers and builds into bigger races with less distraction from smaller races.
