  • Happy first day of Fall 🍃🍂🍁Apple crisp is always a favourite of mine this time of year! I added protein powder to the crumble for an extra protein boost! Here is the recipe⬇️ 🍎Apple Crisp🍏 Ingredients: Apple filling: •6 medium gala apples, peeled, cored and chopped •½ lemon freshly squeezed (about 2 Tbsp. juice) •1 tsp cinnamon Crisp: •1 cup large flake oats •¼ cup oat flour •¼ cup @LeanFitBrand Vanilla Whey protein powder •½ cup coconut sugar •1 tsp cinnamon •½ tsp nutmeg •¼ cup coconut oil, soft Method: Preheat oven to 375ºF. Peel, core and chop apples and place in large mixing bowl, add fresh lemon and cinnamon, mix together until combined and set aside. Stir together all crisp ingredients except coconut oil until well combined. Add coconut oil to dry ingredients and mix together using your hands until all clumps are gone. In 8x8 glass baking dish pour apple mixture in and top with the crisp mixture, spread equally over apples and press down gently (I covered mine with foil while baking). Bake for approximately 30-35 minutes in preheated oven until edges are crisp and bubbling. Let cool slightly and serve with greek yogurt or ice cream if desired. 🍎🍏 #applecrisp #fallfood #appleseason #leanfitprotein

After he was born, I didn’t feel the need to have an apple anymore, and back then, I wasn’t on a healing path (oh how I wish I knew of MM back then). Once he was just about one, he grabbed for an apple on the counter when I was holding him. I gave it to him and he bit in and started making this sound like it was the best thing ever! After that, he had one every day. We would stop at the store if he cried in the car and I would run in and grab one, he’d stop crying. It was amazing! He’s 8 years old now and still has not missed a day. We all eat apples every day now, and since the #medicalmedium #applechallenge started, I have been trying to eat 2 or more. My liver thanks me!! I just can’t believe how much my oldest loves apples that he called for one in the womb. Craziest craving that turned into his favorite food, which made us all make them a part of our daily lives.   • Passe- temps We all got our own free time when we can relax and do what we wish. This is the best time of the day, but also the worst time to waste. Most people spend it on their phone, some decide to read, watch tv, meditate, or take a nap. Personally I prefer talking to friends, reading and meditating, it calms me down and keeps me grounded. Talking to friends on the phone helps you to connect, reading keeps you learning and keeps your brain active and meditation promotes self care, de-stressing and relaxation... the benefits are really endless! I just got back from a camp up north with my school for a couple of days and it was amazing! But I was a little sad to see that whenever we didn’t have a lot to do, people went directly to their phones and were complaining about service, data, and low battery percentages. I understand that we all get bored during free time sometimes, but when you get the opportunity to disconnect from media and phones, take it! It’s the best thing! Even if it’s just for half an hour to an hour a day of disconnecting, try it out and see the changes in how you use your time. What did you do with your free time today??   • 🍳蛋沙拉 彼得包 🥠Pitas with Egg Salad, Avocado and Tomato 又是吃彼得包的早上,喜歡吃彼得包是因為它就像個口袋,放入大量餡料而且蛋沙拉不用醬也不會掉餡好方便(其實應該只有我有這個問題吧哈哈哈) . 水煮蛋最怕的就是蛋殼裂開,成了蛋花湯,原來溫差太大,就是蛋殼裂開的原因,所以用常溫蛋而且冷水入鍋,就可以解決蛋殼裂開的問題!(當然入鍋時也要小心輕放啊XD) . 要做好吃的水煮蛋,烹煮時間不宜太長,冷水入鍋開中火,水滾起計煮約7分鐘,然後馬上泡入冷水,那就可以做到蛋黃微微濕潤,蓬鬆輕盈的效果,煮太久的話蛋黃會變硬實而且乾乾的🙈 #飲食控制 #增肌減脂 #飲食日記 #健康飲食

  • * * 膵炎食 東京宅の朝食 * HIMMEL ハードパン * 梨 食べたのは1/4 * 無脂肪ヨーグルト 柘榴 * 無脂肪牛乳と甘糟のドリンク * キャベツとちりめんの蒸し煮 海苔 * カボチャのホクホク煮 * 真鱈の煮付け * 茹でブロッコリー、インゲン豆 * * 午後から実家に行くので冷蔵庫在庫一掃! 野菜は全て調理してタッパーに詰めてお弁当に。 昨夜のEテレで膵炎の放送観てました。 チョイスと言う番組です。 わたしの様な自己免疫性の膵炎は取り上げられずでしたが。 膵炎の主流はお酒の飲み過ぎ、胆石、脂質の高い食事などの話、膵炎と気が付いてない人が多くいるとのこと。 わたしはお酒呑まないし、脂物もそんなに好きではなかったですが…人間ドックの検査で発見されましたー。 全く症状無かったですからねー。 膵臓が溶けてくるまたは、繊維化する話など…分かってはいるけど改めて聞くとやはり怖いですねー。 食べ過ぎは要注意だなー。 気を付けなければ!

Angelina Jolie's oncologist, who didn't learn anything about nutrition in medical school, feels betrayed by her profession. After doing her own research she feels animal products are DEFINITELY the cause of cancer. She switched her whole family to a #lowfat, #wholefood, #vegan lifestyle. I hope you do to! Also FYI, muscle comes from hard work, not how much protein from animals you eat. Plants supply ALL the protein you need, then it's up to you to lift heavier and push harder.

In the most recent games he placed 16th in the entire world. 😳 A friend of mine saw a quick interview of him where he stated he does NOT take vitamin supplements. What does he take every single day? Juice Plus. And what has he noticed? “Juice Plus made a massive difference in my recovery time and noticeably reduced muscle soreness. Bottom line is this is a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, berries, and grains that I would not otherwise be able to eat everyday. It’s made a difference...won’t go a day without it now.” In the interview he mentioned how he even doubled up on capsules daily leading up to the Games. And because it’s just food with an NSF certification, he was able to do so confidently knowing he wasn’t breaking any sort of supplement rules. Our bodies need 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables every single day. Athletes need even more!
