  • Easy lunch full of leftover veggies and the easiest chicken 🙆🏼‍♀️ I’m not ashamed to admit this is frozen remade chicken that I heated up for a super easy lunch 🙌🏻 I’m normally pretty strict about my meat not having hormones added to it because I’ve struggled with amenorrhea and adding more hormones in from food can really mess things up even more 😬 So I’d say 90% of the time I’m eating meat/eggs that aren’t full of added hormones 👌🏻 But I also want to live life and if that means 10% of the time I eat just regular chicken, well I’m okay with that 🤷🏼‍♀️ The way I see it, this is what a restaurant could be serving me and at least I know what’s going into the other food on my plate 💯 Not saying this is the healthiest option by any means but 1) I’m on vacation 2) I’m with other people and don’t want to add even more inconvenience to them 3) it’s easy and I don’t want to spend time in the kitchen when I could be at the beach 🏖 I know some people may not agree with this and some people may not even think this is a big deal 🤦🏼‍♀️ But I try my best to not judge others for their choices and I’m doing my best to show you how I try to live the healthiest and happiest life I can ❤️ Not everything I eat is perfect and organic and I’m okay with that. This is real life and it’s normal and it is what it is 🤷🏼‍♀️ Getting ready for some more fresh fish for dinner now (and that IS organic 😎😉) and then heading out to explore West Palm Beach ☀️ We had a wonderful day just hanging out under the umbrella, tossing the football, and going for walks 💕 ————————————————————————— #lunch details 👉🏻 1 piece of Tyson grilled chicken + arugula with tomatoes + leftover baked sweet potato from breakfast cut into cubes + sautéed zucchini + sautéed mushrooms

We’re picking up my son from camp this weekend & starting to clean out the fridge, so we can restock it with all his faves ✨ Using the last of my farmers market cherry tomatoes & zucchini + basil from my garden, dinner came together quickly and couldn’t have tasted fresher 😍.. .   • 💫💫Follow me for delicious, healthy recipes and inspiration for healthy living 💫💫 HONEY LEMON CHICKEN INGREDIENTS: 1.5 lbs. boneless, skinless (raw) chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces 3 tablespoons soy sauce (if making this gluten-free, be sure to use GF soy sauce) 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar salt and pepper 1 tablespoon olive oil Honey Lemon Sauce (see below) optional toppings: toasted sesame seeds, thinly-sliced green onions, extra lemon zest, lemon slices HONEY LEMON SAUCE INGREDIENTS: 3/4 cup chicken stock 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 3 tablespoons honey (or more/less to taste) 2 tablespoons cornstarch zest of 1 lemon pinch of ground ginger (optional: sriracha, for heat) DIRECTIONS: Combine the chicken, soy sauce and rice wine vinegar to a large ziplock bag, and toss until the chicken is evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes, or up to 8 hours. When you are ready to cook the chicken, drain and transfer it to a separate plate. Season the chicken on both sides with a few generous pinches of salt and pepper. And in a separate bowl, whisk the honey lemon sauce ingredients together until combined. Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and saute for 5-7 minutes or until it is cooked through and no longer pink inside, stirring and turning the chicken occasionally for even cooking. Transfer the chicken to a separate (clean) plate with a slotted spoon. Pour the (whisked) honey lemon sauce into the empty saute pan. Cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce reaches a low boil and thickens. Add in some sriracha if you would like for extra heat, to taste. (Feel free to also season with extra salt and pepper, or extra honey or lemon.) Add the chicken back into the pan and toss until it is evenly coated with the sauce. Remove from heat and serve the chicken immediately, topped with optional toppings if desired.

Waking up at 5am, drinking my whey protein, popping some multi-vitamin that has zero research & going to the gym for 2-3 hours. Everyday. - Take it from me who made the mistakes. Who did it all wrong. Who got sick and broke down after years of ignorance. But that’s the beauty of it all...we live and learn right? - I finally opened up my ears and eyes and LEARNED what I didn’t know. And to be honest, I was blown away that I was THAT far off from true health. - What our bodies really need is more plants, less supplements. More water, less sports drinks. More sleep, less caffeine. - These baby capsules might just look like another supplement to you, but they are far from it. They’re the MOST researched nutritional product on the market.   • Eating healthy is NOT the same as being on a diet. Eating healthy is putting things in your body that makes you FEEL good. Food that nourishes you & makes you happy. Being on a diet is not that. Eating for a diet makes it seem like you’re eating those foods because you have to, or you think you have to. It’s not for the purpose of wanting to take care of yourself, but for reasons pertaining to your physical state (weightloss, etc.). When you’re on a diet, you begin to label food as good or bad. In reality, there’s no such thing. Food is food &, really, based on a unit of energy. BUT the underlying difference is that there’s food that contain more nutrients while others not so much. That’s where balance comes into play. However, restricting yourself to only certain types of food is never the answer. I don’t care if you want to lose x amount of lbs for your vaca in 2 weeks or whatever the heck it is in whatever time period. Deprivation & forcing yourself to eat food that does not make you feel your best is NOT the answer. Eat vegetables, eat fruit, but also eat things you truly enjoy like Oreos, cake, Doritos. Change that diet mentality into a lifestyle mentality. Seriously amazes me how once you stop restricting & labeling, the feeling of deprivation fades. You’re open to all food, but choose what makes you feel your best. No more weekly binges, no more fad diets that last maybe a month or 2 before you start to find it unmaintainable, no more “I can’t eat that bc it’s not healthy”. Just you simply listening to your body & choosing food that you genuinely want. And if you think that choosing food you want rather than eating “clean” will cause you to go overboard on food on the less nutrient dense side, then I’m here to tell ya that your body won’t disappoint you. You will start to crave veggies & fruit & all da food. Don’t look for quick fixes. Change takes time, consistency, & lots & lots of patience. Expecting changes within a couple weeks of being a little more mindful & healthy is unrealistic. Slow & steady wins the race. Stop putting pressure on yourself to look a certain way & do it so you can finally FEEL a certain way. Confident & comfortable in your body
