I’M BACK!!! 💪🏼 (Kinda 🙃)
Took 10 days off from working out because I’ve been so ill 😪 I can’t remember the last time I’ve taken more than a few days off so this has been very odd :/ Still coughing a lot and breathing isn’t the best so I’m really trying to ease back into the gym so that I hopefully don’t go on a 5th week of being sick (or get bad again 😰) -
So I made it very simple today: 1 big circuit of all the major movements (Squat/Hinge/Push/Pull & Core). Kept the reps moderate and the weight decently light but it felt good to get moving again! Had to take longer rest breaks of course but it’s a start 💪🏼 Swipe through the videos & to the last slide to see the specific exercises I did! Wasn’t feeling too bad after I finished this so added on 3 sets of 10-12 reps DB lateral raises SS w/ DB bicep curls!
It’s really hard for me to not push myself in the gym but I know body cannot take too much right now 😕 Hopefully I’ll get back up to some heavier lifting sometime next week! Def need to get a good squat sesh in as soon as I feel up to it! 🏋🏼♀️ Then I’ll really start to feel like myself again 😌
